Eric Thames went 2-for-5 with a home run and a stolen base in a win over the Reds on Saturday.
Thames homered in his second straight game, blasting a solo shot in the sixth inning. The homer was his 27th of the year, 20 of which he hit before June 18. The stolen bases is what's most disappointing about Thames this year -- after he stole 64 bases over three seasons in the Korean Baseball Organization, he's got just three steals in five attempts this year. The 30-year-old is hitting .248/.363/.526 on the year.
