Nick Pivetta threw five shutout innings in an 11-0 shellacking of the Mets on Sunday.
It's the second straight start where Pivetta didn't allow a run. He was fortunate to not give up runs, as he walked five, which usually leads to trouble. Fortunately, the lethargic Mets didn't take advantage of it. It's a nice finish to the year for the 24-year-old, but his poor command likely limits him to a backend starter at best.
