Coach Todd Bowles said Bryce Petty will be the Jets' No. 2 quarterback "for the foreseeable future."
Petty was a Week 1 inactive behind Christian Hackenberg, but the Jets have made it clear that was injury related. Now that he's healthy, Petty is locked in as Josh McCown's backup. With the Jets tanking, it won't be surprising if Petty makes starts this season.
