Craig Anderson allowed three goals on 42 shots in Thursday's 3-2 double overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final.
Anderson was excellent in Game 6 and really good in Game 7, but it wasn't enough to carry the Senators to the Stanley Cup Final. The Sens fell behind 1-0 and 2-1 in tonight's game, but in both instances, they managed to come back to tie the game (Mark Stone and Chris Dzingel scored for the Sens). Pens forward Chris Kunitz put an end to Ottawa's season when he scored the game-winning goal at the 5:09 mark of the second overtime frame. Anderson finishes the playoffs with an 11-8 record with a 2.34 goals-against-average and a .922 save percentage.
