Mark Streit is projected to play in Game 5 Sunday afternoon. Streit has only been used in one playoff game so far in 2017, but the Penguins are making this change because Chad Ruhwedel is unavailable. Streit is projected to play on the third pairing with Ian Cole.

Mark Streit is expected to be a healthy scratch in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Ottawa Senators on Friday night. Streit played in his first game of the playoffs in Game 3 of the series. He had 15:30 of ice time in that. The Penguins pairings look like this in warmup: Brian Dumoulin and Ron Hainsey, Olli Maatta and Trevor Daley, and Ian Cole and Chad Ruhwedel.

Mark Streit will return to the Penguins' lineup for Game 3 Wednesday night. Streit was regarded as a game-time decision. The Penguins are dressing seven blueliners and it looks like Streit is the one without a regular defensive partner. That being said, he might play a big role with the man advantage.

Mark Streit will be a game-time decision for Game 3 versus Ottawa on Wednesday night, according to coach Mike Sullivan. Streit and Trevor Daley are listed as game-time calls, while Justin Schultz has been ruled out for the contest. It's being speculated that the Penguins could dress seven defensemen and 11 forwards. Streit was on the team's top power-play unit during the morning skate and might make his 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs debut.

Mark Streit could see power-play time in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final versus Ottawa if he gets into the lineup. "He can help us on our power play, he can help us get out of our end zone," coach Mike Sullivan said. "He's a real good puck mover, he's got great puck skills. That was one of the main reasons why we acquired him when we did. He's helped us win games here down the stretch. If Mark's the guy that we go to, we know he can continue to help us win." Streit might get to make his 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs debut if Justin Schultz and/or Trevor Daley aren't available to play Wednesday.
