Deyonta Davis returned from a three-game absence with a sore knee and played 18 minutes off the bench, finishing with eight points, five boards and nothing else, hitting 4-of-4 shots from the floor in Wednesday's loss. Marc Gasol was in foul trouble and the Grizzlies, literally, have nothing left to play for. It makes sense for them to shut Gasol down and let Davis play the rest of the way, but there have been no indications that they plan on doing that. They're 13.5 games or so out of the playoff hunt, so there's a decent chance Davis could get a ton of run after the All-Star break. He's a stash candidate, at least worth keeping a close eye on in case the Grizzlies decide to change course and play the kids.
