Elfrid Payton played just 18 minutes and hit just 2-of-6 shots for four points, one rebound, two assists, two steals and three fouls in Tuesday's loss to the Rockets. The good news is that he didn't have a turnover, but that's where it ends. There are no reports of an injury, but the fact he was guarding James Harden, who scored 60 and made history tonight, probably had a lot to do with it, while his backups also got "hot hands." Shelvin Mack came off the bench to hit 5-of-5 shots and two 3-pointers for 15 points, six rebounds and four assists, and D.J. Augustin hit 4-of-10 shots and three 3-pointers for 13 points, three rebounds and four assists in the loss. Assuming Payton's not hurt, it looks like he just got Harden-ed in this one and we'll have to see if there's any fallout on Wednesday. For now, look for him to resume his role of playing 30 minutes a night and starting at point guard going forward.
