Isaiah Thomas scored 27 points during a Game 6 92-91 loss in Washington on Friday, adding three rebounds, seven assists, five turnovers and five 3-pointers in 39 minutes.
It looked like it was Isaiah Time in the fourth with a couple clutch IT jumpers with two minutes left, but he had a bad turnover late that led to a Brad Beal three, and John Wall blocked IT on the next possession. If not for that sequence, the Celtics are probably getting ready for the Cavs. Plus, coach Brad Stevens pulled out a lot of nice after-timeout plays and you could say he out-coached Scott Brooks today. The Celtics were living on fast-break points with 17 in this game while they had a lot of perimeter points outside of that with only 26 points in the paint. TD Garden should be fired up for Game 7 on Monday.
