Isaiah Thomas scored 35 points with five rebounds, four assists, one block and four 3-pointers during a 123-116 loss to the Hawks on Thursday.
This is a tough one for the Celtics and now they're 1.5 games behind the Cavs and do not have the tiebreaker. In other words, they're basically locked in as the No. 2 seed unless something crazy happens. In other news, Thomas moved up to fifth on the Celtics single-season scoring list -- only John Havlicek and Larry Bird have scored more in a Celtics season. Considering the Celtics have sat Thomas out before this season, there's a good chance he gets a night off in the final three games.
