Kristaps Porzingis' brother and agent, Janis Porzingis, said the big man wants to remain with the Knicks.
"[Kristaps] wants to stay in New York; he feels at home there," Janis said. "There is no question about it. The only thing he wants is for the Knicks to create an environment where he can develop and grow as a player and win." Porzingis' name has been in the rumor mill since he blew off his exit meeting with the Knicks and several teams have inquired about his availability, and Phil Jackson didn't help matters when he refused to call him untouchable in trade talks. A trade seems very unlikely, but if it does happen, Janis said his brother will "play out his contract and head into free agency, where he can choose his own destiny."
