Kristaps Porzingis torched the Lakers for 37 points, 11 rebounds, a steal, five blocks and five 3-pointers on 14-of-26 shooting in 40 minutes of Tuesday's 113-109 win over the Lakers. While this wasn't a season high in scoring for the Unicorn, it was arguably the best game of his young career, as very few players have ever had 37 points, five triples and five blocks in one game. He scored 30 in his previous outing and the Knicks have won 14 games, and sit in the No. 8 spot in the Eastern Playoffs. They have more wins than the Thunder, Clippers, Grizzlies and Heat, but the Knicks probably aren't good enough to get Porzingis involved in serious MVP discussions just yet.
