Lance Stephenson posted his first double-double of the season in a start for Victor Oladipo (knee) on Wednesday, scoring 16 points with a season-high 15 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two triples in 36 minutes in a 98-94 loss to Dallas. He did have five turnovers including a costly one in the final minute, but he was terrific for the most part. Stephenson put up 16 points, eight boards, five dimes and two triples in 36 minutes in his only other start of the season, so it's not a surprise that he was productive with Oladipo's 30.8 usage rate on the shelf. Dipo is day-to-day with knee soreness and may have been rested due to the back-to-back set, so there's a good chance Stephenson will reprise his role off the bench on Friday vs. the Bulls. With December averages of 9.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 0.7 steals, Stephenson has proven that he can still provide low-end value when the Pacers are at full strength.
