Lakers president Magic Johnson said that the coaching staff won't attempt to fix or change Lonzo Ball's form this season. Ball is shooting just 31.3 percent from the floor, 25.0 percent from 3-point territory and 50.0 percent from the free-throw stripe. "Let him shoot the way he's been shooting and hopefully they'll go in," said Magic. "And so, we're not gonna mess with it. If after the season, and he's not shooting well, then we'll sit down with him and say, 'Hey, let's maybe look at a different way or let's try to improve the way you are shooting."

Lonzo Ball made 3-of-10 from the field for seven points during a 100-93 win over the Suns on Monday, adding five rebounds, five assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes. No triple-double here and he couldn't come close to matching his career-high 29 he had against the Suns last time he played them, but the Lakers did break their three-game losing streak. Ball is still really struggling with his jumper at just 25.2 percent on those 107 attempts, and he's also had 11 of his 59 layups get blocked as well. Ball is also terrible as a transition scorer, which he'll really need to improve in this offense.

Ball tallied just seven points (3-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists and two steals in 28 minutes during Monday's 100-93 victory over the Suns. After recording his first career triple-double on Saturday, Ball came back to earth with a sub-par performance. This is going to be the story for Ball as the season progresses, and something owners should have been prepared for. He is still going to remain a must-own player, no matter the outcome, but will be a challenge to own. His rebound and assists numbers are going to remain elite, but his efficiency from the floor could be devastating, depending on the build of your team.

Lonzo Ball became the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double on Saturday, scoring 19 points with 13 assists, 12 rebounds, four blocks, three steals and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes. Ball is 20 years and 15 days old, so he beat out LeBron James by five days. The rookie's historic night included efficient 7-of-12 shooting from the field, but L.A. still didn't have enough to avoid their fifth loss in six road games this season. Luke Walton said recently that "any time you turn on any sports show, all the talk about is [Ball's] shot," but that won't be the case this weekend. The rookie's percentages (29.2% FGs, 50.0% FTs) are a massive anchor in category leagues, of course, but that doesn't obscure his obscene potential.

Ball totaled 10 points (3-12 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 3-7 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 29 minutes during a 111-95 loss to the Wizards on Thursday. Ball neared his first triple-double for the fourth time so far this season but was unable to secure it in the loss. His terrible shooting continued, as he shot below 30 percent for the fifth consecutive outing and also missed more than half of his free throws. The good news is that is shooting cannot get much worse than this.

Lonzo Ball notched 10 points with eight rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one triple in Thursday's 111-95 loss to the Wizards . Once again, Ball's efficiency was brutal, as he finished 3-of-12 from the field, 1-of-7 from deep and 3-of-7 from the line with four turnovers-- one of his free throws barely grazed the rim. "Its in my head to be honest," Ball said of his struggles. "I know I can shoot the ball." If you're not punting FG% in 9-category leagues, Ball is doing more harm than good to your fantasy team.

Lonzo Ball shot 4-of-15 from the field to finish Wednesday's loss with nine points, six assists, five rebounds, one steal and a career-high four blocks. The blocks bolstered tonight's line, but Ball came in shooting horribly from both the field (29.9 percent) and the FT line (53.8 percent), which has ruined his appeal in roto and dragged him down in all category-based leagues. With 11.7 shot attempts per game, he's actually been the single-biggest drag on FG% this year.

Lonzo Ball had another rough game on Friday vs. the Nets, scoring six points on 3-of-15 shooting. He salvaged his line with seven assists, five rebounds and two steals, but Ball is proving to be a huge liability in standard 9-category leagues, as he's now shooting 30.7 percent from the field, 50.0 percent from the line and 25.6 percent from 3-point range on the season. Ball was coming off a scoreless dud on Thursday, so coach Luke Walton told him to be more aggressive which explains the 15 shot attempts. "We need him to be aggressive looking to score and everything as well as getting his teammates involved," Walton said. The Nets have allowed the second most fantasy points to PGs this season, so it's worrying that Ball struggled this much.

Lonzo Ball did not score in 28 minutes during a 113-110 loss to the Blazers on Thursday, adding three rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and one turnover. Yikes. He somehow managed a 4.8 usage rate in that playing time, so he clearly wasn't looking for his shot. We've heard coach Luke Walton talk about how Ball looks to pass too much at practice, so this really isn't a huge surprise. Even with the drop in scoring, Ball has decreased his per-game average in assists in each of his last four games. His fantasy owners had to know he wasn't going to be a bucket getter, but Ball is just clinging to late-round value in standard leagues. He could be viewed as a buy-low option because rookie point guards usually start slow.
