Williams scored 31 points (12-19 FG, 4-8 3PT, 3-4 FT) to go with three rebounds, nine assists and one block in 40 minutes during Monday's 113-102 win against Houston. Since returning to the starting lineup, Williams has been scoring in bunches. In his last five games, the guard is averaging an impressive 34.2 points in 37.2 minutes per game. In addition, Williams is shooting well as of late, sinking 49.1 percent of his 23.2 shots per game over this span. In particular, he is shooting the lights out from beyond the arc, making 46.2 percent of his 10.8 three-pointers per game since January 8. With Austin Rivers expected to be out until at least Saturday, Williams has at least one more start against Denver on Wednesday to continue his current scoring run. Whether he is starting or contributing from the bench, Williams has been the Clippers' most valuable offensive option this season.

Lou Williams finished with a game-high 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting in Monday's 113-102 victory against the Rockets. Williams hit 4-of-8 from behind the 3-point line while chipping in with six rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots over 40 minutes. He is having a ridiculous January, averaging 31.5 points, 5.9 assists and 2.0 rebounds across eight outings. His hot streak has come with Austin Rivers (heel) and Danilo Gallinari (glute) looking on as spectators. He might see a bit of a hit to his fantasy value once those players can return, but he'll remain a must-start fantasy option.

Williams scored 26 points (7-17 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 8-9 FT) while adding four steals, two assists and a rebound in 35 minutes during Saturday's 126-105 win over the Kings. The veteran guard continues to thrive as the Clippers' primary scoring threat on the outside, topping 20 points in 12 straight games and averaging an incredible 31.2 points, 5.1 assists, 4.4 three-pointers, 2.1 boards and 0.9 steals over that stretch. Austin Rivers (heel) could be nearing a return to action, but it's hard to imagine Williams seeing his role decrease while he's this hot.

Lou Williams kept the good times rolling during Saturday's easy win over Sacramento, scoring 26 points on 7-of-17 shooting from the field and 8-of-9 from the charity stripe. Sweet Lou again led the Clippers in scoring as he paved the way to victory, adding four triples, one rebound, two assists, four steals and two turnovers in 35 minutes of action. Williams isn't likely to be traded this season, but it's worth pointing out that this torrid streak has come with Austin Rivers (heel) and Danilo Gallinari (glute) watching from the sidelines, so owners may want to consider selling high as his value could dip once those guys return to the court.

Williams provided 30 points (10-24 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six assists, two steals and one block across 35 minutes in Thursday's 121-115 win over the Kings. After having netted a career-high 50 points on Wednesday, Williams showed no signs of fatigue Thursday despite also playing his third game in four nights. The veteran sharpshooter has now scored at least 30 points in four of the first six contests of 2018, and despite Blake Griffin's return to action from a concussion, Williams still put up well over 20 shots for the third consecutive game, including double-digit tries from three-point range for the second straight contest. Factoring in Thursday's production, the 31-year-old is sporting averages of 32.7 points, 6.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds across 33.7 minutes thus far in January.

Lou Williams hit 10-of-24 shots and five more 3-pointers for 30 points, six assists, two steals and a block in 35 minutes of Thursday's win over the Kings. Williams has now scored at least 30 points in three straight games for the first time in his career and is averaging 32.6 points, 6.0 assists and 4.6 3-pointers over his last five games after going for 50 against the Warriors on Wednesday night. Milos Teodosic and Blake Griffin were both back in action tonight, but they didn't slow Williams' roll, despite Milos getting 26 minutes and Griffin getting 33.

Lou Williams and the Clippers have recently engaged in discussions about a possible extension. Williams has an expiring contract which is why his name has been in the rumor mill lately, but he's eligible for an extension during the season. Both sides are still evaluating their positions and Shams Charania of The Vertical said no deal is imminent, but it makes a lot of sense for the Clippers to extend him if they don't think they can get good value in return at the deadline in the form of drafts picks or young talent.

Williams tallied a career-high 50 points (16-27 FG, 8-16 3Pt, 10-10 FT) and added seven assists and two rebounds across 35 minutes in Wednesday's 125-106 win over the Warriors. The majority of Williams' eye-popping scoring haul came in the third quarter, a period in which he exploded for 27 points to lead the Clippers to their first win over the Warriors for the first time in more than three years. Williams tallied a career-best eight three-pointers in the process and also extended a streak of perfection at the free-throw line to three games. The 31-year-old's usage has gone through the roof over the last two contests in particular while the team endures multiple absences in the starting five, a development that's helped the veteran sharpshooter kick off the new calendar year with averages of 33.2 points, 6.0 assists and 2.4 rebounds across the first five games of January.

Lou Williams poured in a career-high 50 points during Wednesday's 125-106 win vs. Golden State, making 16-of-27 field goals and 10-of-10 free throws with eight 3-pointers, seven assists and two rebounds. Williams scored 27 of his points in a scintillating third-quarter performance, the highest total in any quarter during his 13-year NBA career. Golden State simply had no answers defensively with Stephen Curry (ankle) and Klay Thompson (rest) both unavailable. Sweet Lou has surged into top-20 value over the past few weeks and he's inside the top-50 on the season. You're unlikely to get that type of value back in a trade, so it's hard to even call him 'sell-high' at this point. That said, his monster usage should dip once Blake Griffin (concussion) and Milos Teodosic (foot) return to action -- Doc Rivers has repeatedly said he doesn't want to tire out Williams, but basically couldn't take him off the court tonight.
