Mike Conley News

Conley (Achilles) has been ruled out indefinitely and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, Peter Edmiston of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports. Conley continues to deal with soreness in his Achilles and left heel and will undergo treatment over the next two weeks before being re-evaluated. It looks like his absence will extend beyond the two weeks, however, so it could be a while before the Grizzlies get their starting point guard back. In Conley's absence, Mario Chalmers and Tyreke Evans will continue to share ball-handling duties, with Evans benefitting the most, as he's posting his best numbers since his rookie season.

The Grizzlies have announced that Mike Conley (Achilles) will miss at least two more weeks. Here's the full statement from the team: "Conley will undergo therapy and treatment to help promote healing and alleviate soreness in his left heel and Achilles following consultations with physicians. There is no timetable for his return at this time. Further updates will be provided in approximately two weeks." Mario Chalmers is expected to remain the starter while Conley is sidelined. Chalmers is averaging 11.0 points and 6.0 assists in 27.4 over Memphis' last two games. Tyreke Evans will continue to log heavy minutes off the bench as well.

Conley (Achilles) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Michael Wallace of Grizzlies.com reports. Conley has been dealing with a sore Achilles for much of the season, but was unable to go through the team's morning shootaround and has now been ruled out entirely for Wednesday's contest. Coach David Fizdale mentioned that Conley is getting day-to-day evaluations and maintenance on the Achilles, so it appears he'll continue to be evaluated on a game-to-game basis moving forward. Conley's next opportunity to play will be Saturday against the Rockets, but in the meantime, look for Mario Chalmers and Tyreke Evans to benefit the most in his absence.

Mike Conley (Achilles) will sit out against Indiana on Wednesday. He is day-to-day and it sounds like there could be additional maintenance on his foot going forward. Conley's fantasy value has dropped in a big way, and it could be a while before he's 100 percent. His value is probably too low to trade, so his fantasy owners may want to just sit tight until he can get it going again. Mike Conley is worth a look in 12-team leagues while Andrew Harrison should get minutes, as well. Tyreke Evans should be busy in the second unit.

Mike Conley (left Achilles) did not participate during shootaround and remains questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Pacers. Conley looks to be headed for a game-time call, but given his history with Achilles issues, the Grizzlies may want to play it safe and give him the night off. After Wednesday, the Grizzlies don't play again until Saturday, so if Conley sits that would give him a full four days to rest his sore left Achilles. Mario Chalmers will draw the start if Conley sits, and there will be more shots to go around for guys like Tyreke Evans and Marc Gasol. Stay tuned.

Conley did not go through morning shootaround and should still be considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Eric Hasseltine of the Grizzlies Radio Network reports. Conley's status likely won't be determined until closer to tipoff. He's been battling an Achilles injury for much of the year, which has been affecting his play. He's shooting just 38.1 percent from the field and 31.2 percent from beyond the arc. If he ends up missing the contest, Mario Chalmers, Andrew Harrison and Tyreke Evans would seemingly be the main beneficiaries.

Mike Conley (left Achilles) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers. Conley will never be one to make excuses, but coming off a 2-of-12 shooting performance, it's tough to try and say that the Achilles issue isn't affecting him. This is the same Achilles that limited him to just 56 games during his 2015-16 campaign, so the Grizzlies may want to give him some time off to avoid this turning into a lingering issue. If he's out, Mario Chalmers would likely draw the start and Marc Gasol would see a spike in usage. Stay tuned.

Conley is dealing with a sore left Achilles and is considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers. The Achilles has been bothering Conley for much of this season, already costing him one game at the start of November. He'll receive treatment over the next 24 hours or so and will then likely test it out during pregame warmups ahead of Wednesday's contest before a final decision is made on his availability. If Conley is ultimately held out, Mario Chalmers and Tyreke Evans would likely benefit the most.

Mike Conley scored a season-low seven points and hit just 2-of-12 shots in Monday's loss to the Bucks. As referenced in the link below, Conley's shooting numbers are down across the board this season. Despite playing 33 minutes, he wasn't productive in other areas of the boxscore either with two assists, one steal and two triples. Conley did miss a game on Nov. 1 due to an Achilles issue, so maybe he's not 100 percent. However, if he is healthy then he's way too good to not snap out of this funk, so this could be a great buy-low opportunity.

Mike Conley had a forgettable game vs. Houston on Saturday, shooting 4-of-11 from the field for 12 points, five assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes. The minutes aren't a concern since there was plenty of garbage time -- Marc Gasol also played 28 minutes while getting 15 points, nine boards and three assists. Houston has been stingy vs. PGs despite the early loss of Chris Paul this season, giving up the 10th-fewest DFS points, and Conley should bounce back vs. the Bucks on Monday.
