Mike Muscala knows that he'll have some increased opportunity for minutes this upcoming season with Paul Millsap and Dwight Howard no longer in Atlanta.
"I think there is going to be an opportunity but there is still time in free agency and time for rosters to change across the league," said Muscala. "It’s definitely going to be a different team. For me personally and the guys who are on the squad it’s going to be a good opportunity." If the Hawks don't make any other major acquisitions during free agency, Muscala could realistically open the year as Atlanta's starting center. Per-36 minutes last season, he averaged 12.7 points, 7.0 boards, 1.3 triples and 1.2 blocks per game, so Muscala could make for a sneaky late-round flier on draft day.
