Paul George scored 29 points during a 109-108 loss in Cleveland on Saturday, adding five rebounds, seven assists, one steal and six 3-pointers in 41 minutes.
It looked like he was going to put up at least 40 points, but George's first field goal in the fourth quarter didn't come until just 40 seconds were left in the game. The Pacers had the ball down one with 20 seconds left and George was handling the ball on the last possession, but LeBron James came to double and made it very clear they didn't want George to beat them on the last possession. "Anybody but Paul George could take that last one," James said in his post-game interview on ABC. PG-13 gave it up to C.J. Miles, but he couldn't connect to give the Cavs a 1-0 lead. George has been magnificent in March and April, so expect him to have some massive stat lines in this series.
