Rudy Gobert (left knee) is out for Game 3 against the Clippers on Friday.
The Jazz were lucky to get a 1-1 split in L.A. for the first two games, and a lot of it has to do with Derrick Favors being able to log 32.5 minutes per game. Besides Favors at the five, it's been Jeff Withey and even Boris Diaw picking up some extra minutes. Joe Johnson and Joe Ingles have also stepped up as the Jazz go with more small-ball fours. Gobert should be considered doubtful for Game 4 on Sunday.RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant:
One of the most notable changes in Utah’s dynamic following Gobert’s injury has been Joe Johnson’s spike in usage; it’s climbed 7.8% to 27.4% according to our CourtIQ tool. He’s averaged 30.1 minutes per game he’s taken at least 14 shots in both contests, well above his average of 8.0 FGAs. With Gobert still sidelined, he’ll be a solid value option on the short slate.
