Stan Van Gundy said he wants to "get more" out of Stanley Johnson next season.
"We were disappointed in [Johnson's] year last year, but in fairness, I think we played him out of position a lot," said Van Gundy. "We move Stanley into a position to fight for minutes at the three and maybe even in smaller minutes at the four where I think he has a great chance to be successful." Johnson spent a lot of time at SG last year, but with the additions of Avery Bradley, Luke Kennard and Langston Galloway, Johnson should be able to spend more time at his natural SF position. There's also been speculation that he could start there, so he's on the radar as a late-round flier.
