Thon Maker did not have a great game on Friday, making 1-of-8 from the field for four points with five rebounds, one steal, one 3-pointer and three turnovers in 24 minutes against the Cavs.
To make matters worse, he was 1-of-4 from the line, and also the muscle watch from last month didn't look apparent with how he was pushed around. On the broadcast, coach Jason Kidd said that Maker and Giannis Antetokounmpo have established a bond to help push each other. Kidd added he's eventually going to ask Maker to handle the ball, but he wants him to become a better rebounder first. For what it's worth, Maker was very sloppy with the ball today. He'll be better his next time out.
