Bucks coach Jason Kidd said Thon Maker bulked up over the offseason "to endure the banging inside and prevent him from being pushed around."
"It’s going to help me out on the offensive end, too," Maker said of the added muscle. "When I am making moves, little bumps don’t bother me. And I will be able to finish through contact." An ankle issue limited Maker to one preseason game, but he fared well with eight points, eight rebounds, two assists and two triples in 26 minutes. He's projected to start at center, but Kidd's crazy rotations may make it tough for Maker to produce consistent value.
