Jamal Murray    G  Nuggets

Jamal Murray said the trade rumors this summer have been "nerve wracking." "It’s different knowing I could be in Cleveland right now. I could be in Minnesota," Murray said. "I could be anywhere in a couple days. It’s kind of nerve wracking because you don’t know what’s going on and there are so many rumors. I just have to stay ready and prepared for any opportunity." We're big fans of Murray over here and are expecting a breakout with the Nuggets and their elite offense, so a trade would certainly hurt his value. For now, it sounds like the trade rumors have slightly cooled, but it's possible Murray is in a Kyrie Irving trade.

Stanley Johnson    F  Pistons

Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy said he plans to play Stanley Johnson more frequently at small forward next season. Johnson is coming off a very disappointing sophomore season in which he averaged 4.4 points and 2.5 rebounds in 17.8 minutes per contest, while shooting just 35.3 percent from the field, 29.2 percent from deep and 67.9 percent on free throws. However, with the Pistons trading Marcus Morris, the former lottery pick has a golden opportunity to win the starting small forward job and re-establish himself as part of the Pistons future.

Jeff Ayres    F/C  Clippers

Jeff Ayres has signed a contract to play for Eskisehir Basket in Turkey next season. Ayres was a D-League All-Star back in 2015-16 and spent time in Russia, Japan and the D-League last season. It doesn't appear he will make his way back to the NBA anytime soon.

Kristaps Porzingis    F  Knicks

Kristaps Porzingis scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in Latvia's win over Poland on Friday. This was a "friendly preparation game" for both national teams as they get ready for Eurobasket later this month. Unsurprisingly, Porzingis dominated the action on both ends of the floor, as he also added two blocks and two steals. KP has a chance to establish himself as an elite fantasy force next season, and will likely be selected in the top-20 of most drafts.

Giannis Antetokounmpo    G/F  Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) scored 20 points in a win over Montenegro on Friday. The game was a warm-up for the Eurobasket. It's encouraging that Antetokounmpo suited up, as he had been sidelined due to a "minor knee injury" earlier this month. It was reported that Antetokounmpo had an MRI which revealed there was nothing wrong. The Greek Freak will not play for Team Greece next week, as he is touring China from August 15th through the 20th. Antetokounmpo will be one of the top draft picks in all fantasy formats this upcoming season.

Reggie Jackson    G  Pistons

Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy said that Reggie Jackson (knee) is "doing well and feeling good." Jackson missed the first 21 games and the final nine games of the 2016-17 season due to left knee tendinitis. However, it appears offseason rehab has benefited the Pistons point guard. "They put him on a rehab protocol that is longer, a 16-week protocol where they’re slowly getting him ready for the season instead of getting him right back out on the court right away and doing his normal summer work," said Van Gundy. Jackson has a high fantasy ceiling, but the injury concerns and Detroit's depth at guard make him a risky pick in fantasy drafts.

Myles Turner    F/C  Pacers

Myles Turner said that he wants to be an All-Star next season and expects the Pacers to make the playoffs. Amazingly, Turner, who is just 21 years old, is the longest tenured player on the Pacers. Despite having only two years of experience under his belt, Turner feels he is ready to take on a leadership role. "I want to start establishing myself as a leader in this league and on this team," he said. While the playoffs are a long shot for the Pacers, Turner will likely be a member of plenty of winning fantasy teams next season. He finished in the top-25 overall in standard leagues in 2016-17 and has a chance to return first-round value next year.
