Jamal Murray    G  Nuggets

Jamal Murray pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds against the Celtics on Wednesday, adding 28 points, four assists, three steals and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes. He was very good as a shooter, making all six from the line and 9-of-17 from the field. Coach Mike Malone has always wanted to see Murray get downhill as a scorer and that's exactly what happened against a great defensive team. Plus, Emmanuel Mudiay took another huge step back in this loss despite Murray posting a +8 in plus-minus. Murray has turned in two outstanding games in a row and it'll be interesting to see if this momentum can hold up with Nikola Jokic (ankle) set to come back on Friday. The Blue Arrow's fantasy owners have to be feeling really good after a rocky start to his season.

Wayne Ellington    SG  Heat

Ellington amassed 24 points (8-11 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, two steals, and one block in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 102-95 loss to the Trail Blazers. Ellington finished with a season high in scoring while matching his career high in made treys. The absence of Tyler Johnson (migraine) resulted in Ellington receiving extended run, and the ninth-year guard responded with his best effort of the campaign. If Johnson is forced to sit out of Friday's tilt with the Hornets, Ellington will likely be called on to play lots of minutes off the bench once again. But even if Johnson rejoins the rotation, Ellington was already averaging more minutes in December (23.4 per prior to Wednesday) than he saw in October (12.8) or November (22.3).

Mason Plumlee    C  Nuggets

Mason Plumlee scored 15 points with six rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 32 minutes against the Celtics on Wednesday. Even with the strong showing in the back-to-back set with a double-double on Tuesday, Plumlee is going to see a major dip in playing time with Nikola Jokic (ankle) set to come back on Friday. Coach Mike Malone said he wanted to hold Jokic out on Wednesday because he wasn't quite ready, but that should be different. If you've been using Plumlee in a shallower league, be prepared to drop him.

Chandler Parsons    SF  Grizzlies

Parsons provided 12 points (4-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 27 minutes during a 93-87 loss to the Wizards on Wednesday. Parsons received the start with Tyreke Evans (hip) sidelined and as a result played a season-high 27 minutes and shot a season-high 12 field goal attempts. If Evans is forced to miss more time, Parsons would be one of the main beneficiaries. If his workload suddenly increases, he could be a decent provider of three-pointers, rebounds and assists.

JaMychal Green    PF  Grizzlies

Green recorded 15 points (6-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt), 15 rebounds and two assists across 37 minutes during a 93-87 loss to the Wizards on Wednesday. Green picked up his first double-double of the season in the loss as he also knocked down a season-high three three-pointers. Green has been receiving plenty of minutes lately, but still hasn't been able to put up anything past average numbers. He is worth keeping an eye on, though, due to his usual heavy workload.

Mike Scott    PF  Wizards

Scott contributed 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five rebounds and one block across 27 minutes during a 93-87 win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday. Scott received the start with Markieff Morris (hip) sidelined and posted an average stat line. It is unclear at this time how seriously Morris is hurt, but if he is forced to miss time, Scott could be a decent source of three-pointers and rebounds. He's not normally the most consistent performer, however.

John Wall    PG  Wizards

Wall totaled 13 points (6-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-4 FT), four assists, two steals, one rebound and one block across 28 minutes during a 93-87 win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday. In his return from a nine-game absence due to a knee injury, Wall was a bit rusty as he shot 40 percent from the field and missed all of his free throw attempts. He received 28 minutes, which indicates that he is not far off from his usual workload. It may take a few games for him to get back into the groove, but expect Wall to be posting his usual balanced stat lines soon.

Trey Lyles    F  Nuggets

Trey Lyles scored nine points in the starting lineup against the Celtics on Wednesday with six rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes. He's been red hot with 22.5 points per game in his previous two, but his playing time will undoubtedly be cut now that Nikola Jokic (ankle) should be ready for Friday. Lyles was battling with Kenneth Faried for the backup four spot in the preseason, but now Lyles may get another chance to show what he can do in the second unit. Just keep an eye on him, but be prepared to drop him if you've been using him in the last three.

Jonathon Simmons    G/F  Magic

Jonathon Simmons handed out a career-high eight assists in a losing effort on Wednesday, adding a team-high 20 points, six rebounds and one steal in 39 minutes. This marks Orlando's eighth consecutive loss to the Clippers, a streak going back to Nov. 2013. Simmons did all he could for the short-handed Magic, but finished 6-of-17 from the field and 6-of-8 from the FT line -- Orlando as a team shot just 42.2 percent. Simmons should continue to have a glaring green light offensively until the Magic get guys like Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier back in the mix.

Mario Hezonja    F  Magic

Mario Hezonja piled up season-highs on Wednesday with 17 points, nine rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal in 35 minutes. The blocks tied Hezonja's career-high, and he was also efficient with 6-of-11 shooting, including a pair of 3-pointers. Arron Afflalo (back) joined the parade of injured G/Fs for the Magic tonight, a list that included Evan Fournier (ankle), Aaron Gordon (concussion), Terrence Ross (knee) and rookie Jonathan Isaac (ankle). Hezonja could drop out of the rotation once healthy bodies filter back into the lineup, but he'd be worth streaming if he gets another start vs. Portland on Friday.
