Kosta Koufos    F/C  Kings

Kosta Koufos scored two points with three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 16 minutes against the Nuggets on Saturday. Coach Dave Joerger loves to play his guy Koufos, but the minutes won't be there almost any night. There has to be someone better to stash in almost any league.

Gorgui Dieng    F  Timberwolves

Dieng scored seven points with three rebounds in 12 minutes in Sunday's win at Oklahoma City.

Georgios Papagiannis    C  Kings

Georgios Papagiannis was a DNP-CD on Saturday. The Kings talked about bringing him along slowly and they weren't kidding. Papagiannis likely won't get regular minutes until 2018 while the team is healthy.

Jeff Teague    G  Timberwolves

Teague scored 19 points with nine assists and six rebounds in 39 minutes in Sunday's win at Oklahoma City. "Jeff was terrific,'" Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "That's the Jeff we're all expecting. Great speed, super aggressive. He was attacking.''

Frank Mason    G  Kings

Frank Mason III scored seven points with two rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 17 minutes against the Nuggets on Saturday. He got his first look as a pro and this wasn't all garbage time. Mason III had a very nice offseason and could get in the rotation if George Hill needs time off. Just keep an eye on him.

Ed Davis    F/C  Trail Blazers

Ed Davis pulled down 11 rebounds in just 16 minutes off the bench on Saturday, to go with six points, one turnover and two blocks. Davis made the most of his minutes tonight, but unfortunately, there's just too much competition in Portland's crowded frontcourt for him to get enough consistent playing time. Davis is nothing more than a low-end big in deep leagues.

Oct 22 - 12:44 AM

Al-Farouq Aminu    F  Trail Blazers

Al-Farouq Aminu did not play well during Saturday's loss to the Bucks, posting just five points, six rebounds, two assists, one 3-pointer and one block in 25 minutes. Aminu really struggled to get his shot to drop, finishing 1-of-7 from the field, and this was an unfortunate step in the wrong direction following Friday's 16-point, 16-rebound double-double. Consistency has been a consistent issue for Aminu throughout his career, so it's unlikely he'll be anything more than late-round guy this year.

Oct 22 - 12:43 AM

Moe Harkless    G/F  Trail Blazers

Moe Harkless quietly had a solid game on Saturday, netting 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting to go with two 3-pointers, three rebounds, three steals and one turnover in 31 minutes. Harkless' numbers rarely jump off the page, but his ability to bring a little bit of everything to the box score without hurting you anywhere is what gives him his appeal in fantasy hoops. He was very quiet through the first two games of the season, but maybe he'll be able to get things going after this solid showing. He's worth owning in competitive 12-team leagues.

Oct 22 - 12:43 AM

Evan Turner    G/F  Trail Blazers

Evan Turner was productive in his 33 minutes off the bench Saturday, tallying 11 points, seven assists, two boards, one steal, one 3-pointer and two turnovers in a loss to the Bucks. Turner was the first sub off the bench, and he did a really nice job of helping facilitate the offense while C.J. McCollum or Damian Lillard worked off the ball. His minutes are up this year, which is a trend that should hold with Allen Crabbe no longer a part of the equation, so the stars are aligned for a bounce-back year after a pretty disastrous 2016-17 campaign. Turner won't be much more than a late-round guy, but it looks like he'll be worth owning in competitive 12-team leagues.

Oct 22 - 12:42 AM

Vince Carter    G/F  Kings

Vince Carter played six minutes against the Nuggets on Saturday. He'll be a first-ballot Hall of Fame player, but the Kings are using him as more of an extension of the coaching staff. If you miss watching Carter this year, you can probably spend a day on YouTube looking at his dunk reel.
