Zaza Pachulia    F/C  Warriors

Zaza Pachulia (right heel contusion) has been ruled out of Game 3 vs. San Antonio on Saturday. This update was expected after it was revealed that Pachulia "didn't do much" at practice on Friday. Spurs fans are undoubtedly disappointed that they won't have the opportunity to boo Pachulia out of the building on Saturday. JaVale McGee will likely draw the start at center. David West may pick up some extra run as well. However, Golden State may also choose to go small early and often, playing Draymond Green in the middle more frequently.

Andre Iguodala    G/F  Warriors

Andre Iguodala (left knee soreness) is probable for Game 3 vs. the Spurs on Saturday. Iguodala sat out the final 25 minutes of Game 1 and was ruled out for Game 2. However, he got in a full practice on Friday and is expected to suit up on Saturday night. Warrior reserves Ian Clark, Matt Barnes and Pat McCaw will see their playing time reduced in Game 3, assuming Iggy logs his usual allotment of minutes.

Kawhi Leonard    G/F  Spurs

Coach Gregg Popovich said that Kawhi Leonard (ankle) will not play in Game 3 vs. the Warriors on Saturday. A brutal blow for the Spurs, who need to win Game 3 if they have any chance of salvaging this series. The fact that Leonard has already been ruled out this early on Saturday isn't an encouraging sign regarding his chances of suiting up for Game 4, which will be played on Monday. Jonathon Simmons will draw another start in place of Kawhi. Simmons played well in Game 2, scoring a team-high 22 points. Kyle Anderson will also see an uptick in minutes. San Antonio will desperately need LaMarcus Aldridge to step up and carry the load offensively.

Enes Kanter    F/C  Thunder

Enes Kanter is being detained in Romania after his passport was "canceled" by the Turkish embassy on Saturday morning. Kanter is traveling throughout Europe as part of his 2017 Enes Kanter Light Foundation global tour. He posted a video on Twitter explaining that police officers had been holding him in Budapest for hours. "The reason behind it is just, of course, my political views," said Kanter. "And the guy who did it is Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the president of Turkey. He's a bad, bad man. He is a dictator, and he's the Hitler of our century." ESPN is reporting that the Thunder are working with the league office to gather information.

The Knicks are reportedly interested in hiring Pablo Prigioni as an assistant coach. Prigioni announced his retirement as a player back in January. He started his NBA career in New York at age 35, playing for the Knicks from 2012 through 2015, before being traded to the Rockets.

Russell Westbrook    G  Thunder

The Thunder will be able to sign Russell Westbrook to the Designated Player Veteran Extension this summer. Russ will make $28.5 million for the 2017-18 season and can tack on another five years, beginning in 2018-19. The total value of the extension would be $207 million. If Westbrook decides not to sign the extension, thus enabling him to become a free agent in July of 2018, OKC will have a tough decision to make. Do they allow him to play out the 2017-18 season and hope he re-signs, or do they maximize his trade value and avoid risking losing him for nothing.

Chauncey Billups    G  Pistons

The Hawks interviewed Chauncey Billups this week regarding their Atlanta's vacant GM position. Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical also reports that Atlanta was denied permission to speak with Portland Trail Blazers president of basketball operations Neil Olshey. Billups, a current television studio analyst, had previously said that he would prefer coaching to a front office position but is apparently interested in at least speaking with the Hawks.

Isaiah Thomas    G  Celtics

Isaiah Thomas (right hip strain) will be re-evaluated Saturday and may be forced to miss Game 3 vs. Cleveland on Sunday. Thomas missed the second half of Game 2, and it turns out he's been dealing with pain in his hip since last week. "He's had a nagging hip injury," coach Brad Stevens said. "He aggravated it pretty significantly last Friday in Washington in Game 6 (of the conference semifinals), went through a bunch of testing on Saturday and Sunday and was able to play Monday, (but) hasn't felt great either of the two days." Marcus Smart and Terry Rozier will see an uptick in minutes if Thomas is sidelined for Game 3.
