Ben Simmons    F  76ers

Ben Simmons (foot) has been "cleared to resume full basketball activity for some time," according to 76ers' beat reporter Tom Moore. Simmons sat out the entire 2016-17 season due to a Jones fracture in his right foot, but all reports up to this point have indicated that he'll be going into training camp 100 percent healthy. However, head coach Brett Brown has already hinted that Simmons will likely have a minutes restriction next year, so expect him to be eased into things next season, similarly to how the team handled Joel Embiid last year.

Gerald Henderson    G/F  76ers

Gerald Henderson underwent hip surgery on Thursday. Henderson has been dealing with nagging hip pain for over five years and finally decided he wanted to have the hip operated on. According to his agent, Henderson will start rehab as early as next week in preparation for his return to the NBA. Henderson is still a free agent, so he'll have to convince a team he is healthy enough to play once he gets close to 100%. He won't have fantasy relevance anytime in the near future.

Mathias Lessort    C  76ers

Mathias Lessort has signed to play with KK Crvena Zvezda in Serbia next season. The Sixers selected Lessort with the 50th overall pick in the 2017 draft. The plan has always been to stash him in Europe for a year or two. Lessort's contract with KK Crvena Zvezda is reportedly for three years, but very likely has an NBA opt-out clause should the Sixers want to bring him stateside in 2018-19.

Jahlil Okafor    C  76ers

Jahlil Okafor understands that he could get traded next season. "I hear trade rumors and stuff like that, realizing that having a new scenario, think it might be better than what it is now," said Okafor. Okafor hasn't lived up to expectations after going No. 3 overall in the 2015 NBA draft and knee issues have really lowered his trade value. He's not in a good situation at all in Philly with Joel Embiid clearly the franchise five man, but he might be a backup regardless of the name across his jersey, as his old school, post-up game doesn't really translate to the modern NBA.

J.J. Redick    G  76ers

J.J. Redick said he initially planned on signing with the Rockets, but Houston amended their offer from four years to three. According to Redick, he thought he was on his way to Houston. "The day before free agency, I thought it was a four-year deal. Chris Paul and I talked for about 30 minutes the night before free agency started," said Redick. "I wanted to go there." As we know, Redick eventually inked a one-year, $23 million deal with the Sixers. Redick should be more an offensive focus in Philly than he would have been with the Rockets.

Gerald Henderson    G/F  76ers

Gerald Henderson (hip) will have hip surgery and could miss the entire 2017-18 season, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.com. He just hasn't been able to shake this hip injury, which has bothered him for most of this decade. Henderson was waived last month and is an unrestricted free agent, so chances are a team won't be looking to add him until he shows he's healthy. Henderson is still only 29, but the frequent injuries suggest he only has a handful of useful seasons left in his NBA career.

Joel Embiid    F/C  76ers

Joel Embiid (knee surgery) said he's been cleared for non-contact drills and he expects to be ready for training camp. "I can do everything but play 5-on-5 and one-on-one," Embiid said. "I think I will be ready for training camp." Embiid is loaded with upside, but the fact that knee and foot issues have kept the seven-footer off the floor for all but 31 games through his first three years in the league is certainly concerning. He'll likely again have a minutes limit next season, and there are no guarantees he'll be cleared for back-to-back sets, so he'll be the epitome of a high-risk, high-reward pick on draft day.
