Robert Covington    G/F  76ers

Robert Covington had surgery to repair a meniscus tear in his right knee Tuesday in Philadelphia. Per Sixers team doctors, Covington is expected to resume full weight bearing in two weeks and begin basketball activities this summer. Last week, RoCo said that full recovery time is usually 4-6 weeks, but that he might be able to beat that estimate because he had a head start on rehab. Also, Covington said the that the MRI showed it was "just a baby tear." He should certainly be ready to roll by the time training camp arrives.

Dario Saric    F  76ers

General manager Bryan Colangelo said the 76ers need another power forward. He said he is either looking for a backup to Dario Saric or someone to start ahead of him if that player is "better than" The Homie. While the 76ers obviously need some depth at the four, it's still a strange quote about Saric. As one of the best Rookie of the Year candidates out there, Saric may trend down next season due to so much talent being added to the rotation.

Richaun Holmes    F/C  76ers

Coach Brett Brown acknowledged Richaun Holmes as a keeper for the 76ers. Jahill Okafor was not included in this group. Holmes clearly outplayed Okafor late in the season and his transition to center has gone about as seamless as possible. If the 76ers can indeed unload Okafor, Holmes could be looking at 20 minutes off the bat next year. Given Joel Embiid's injury history, Holmes will be one of the best fantasy handcuffs out there.

Ben Simmons    F  76ers

General manager Bryan Colangelo said Ben Simmons playing point guard is "not dissimilar to what Magic [Johnson] brought to the PG spot." It's definitely on for Simmons to play the point. The 76ers have also talked about how they think Simmons can guard ones while calling him a matchup nightmare as an offensive point guard. While he may not be 7'0", Simmons is going to be a Giannis Antetokounmpo-like contributor with the ball this season. Simmons will be one of the great mysteries in fantasy drafts next year, but his unique style makes him an interesting target.

Joel Embiid    F/C  76ers

GM Bryan Colangelo said that he doesn't "think back-to-backs will be an issue" for Joel Embiid next season. This is an encouraging development, but drafting Embiid will still be the ultimate boom-or-bust selection next season. When healthy, he's one of the more dominant and fantasy-friendly big men in the entire league. However, he’s only played in 31 of 246 possible games since the Sixers drafted him three years ago. No player will be more debated and disputed heading into 2017 fantasy drafts.

Jahlil Okafor    C  76ers

Speaking with reporters on Friday, GM Bryan Colangelo said that he would be willing to listen to trade offers for Jahlil Okafor. "If a deal comes along that makes sense for both, we'll listen," said Colangelo. Okafor is coming off a disappointing sophomore season, in which he appeared in just 50 games and saw a sharp dip in both his scoring (11.8 points) and rebounding (4.8 boards). Although Nerlens Noel has been traded to Dallas, Joel Embiid (assuming he's healthy) will be the starting center. Also, Richaun Holmes exceed expectations and earned minutes going forward. A fresh start elsewhere would boost Okafor's fantasy stock.

Ben Simmons    F  76ers

Ben Simmons (foot) said playing point guard is "definitely tough" and he wants to learn it. After getting the all clear this week, Simmons is expected to start workouts on Tuesday. Coach Brett Brown continues to talk up Simmons as a ball-handler and the emergence of Dario Saric adds depth to their frontcourt, so it's not crazy to think Simmons starts at that position. He will be one of the most interesting stories of the offseason and should be 100 percent ready for training camp.

Justin Anderson    F  76ers

Justin Anderson said he "doesn't feel settled" in Philly yet. "If I'm being honest, I'm not comfortable right now," Anderson said. "There's a lot of unknowns for me." Anderson didn't really have time to learn the system in Philly after his mid-season trade from Dallas due to their game-heavy schedule in the final two months of the season, but he did show some flashes of his upside. He averaged 8.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.9 triples on 46.6 percent shooting in 21.6 minutes per game for Philly, but he will need a strong offseason in order to carve out a role on the 76ers in 2017-18 -- Robert Covington, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Gerald Henderson are all under contract for next season.
