Wayne Selden    G  Grizzlies

Wayne Selden (quad) will not play Wednesday vs. the Spurs. He's out indefinitely and irrelevant in all leagues.

Brandan Wright    F/C  Grizzlies

Brandan Wright (right groin) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Spurs. We haven't seen any reports of Wright increasing his activity at practice, so he doesn't seem all that close to a return. Deyonta Davis will see an uptick in minutes with him out, while JaMychal Green and Marc Gasol will get all the burn they can handle. Wright isn't worth owning in most leagues.

Mario Chalmers    G  Grizzlies

Mario Chalmers (right ankle) is questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Spurs. This is the first we're hearing of an ankle issue for Chalmers, but if this is indeed something that forces him to the sidelines, Memphis will be razor thin at the PG spot with Mike Conley (Achilles) also unavailable. Andrew Harrison would likely move into the starting five and get all the run he could handle, and Tyreke Evans could also spend some time running the point. Stay tuned.

Chandler Parsons    F  Grizzlies

Chandler Parsons (right knee) is being listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Spurs. Parsons exited Sunday's game after experiencing some tightness in his surgically repaired right knee, but the Grizzlies described the move as "precautionary," and the probable-tag for Wednesday's game confirms that narrative. He should be out there, and it'll be interesting to see how his minutes and role in the offense looks with a new coach at the helm, but it's unlikely he'll suddenly be a big-time factor in fantasy hoops due to all the knee issues.

Tyreke Evans    SG  Grizzlies

Evans scored 18 points (5-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-8 FT) while adding six rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 98-88 loss to the Nets. He continues to be the only reliable scoring option for the Grizzlies on their second unit, and Evans has now dropped at least 15 points in 12 of the last 13 games, averaging 20.2 points, 4.8 boards, 4.0 assists, 1.8 three-pointers and 1.2 steals over that stretch. Even with the team having dropped eight straight games, Evans' sixth-man role and consistent minutes have allowed him to maintain strong fantasy value.

Marc Gasol    C  Grizzlies

Gasol scored 18 points (6-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT) while adding five rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in 28 minutes during Sunday's 98-88 loss to the Nets. Despite the fact that he tied for the team lead in scoring on the night, Gasol took a seat for the entire fourth quarter as coach David Fizdale turned to his second unit to try and mount a comeback. Gasol's spot in the starting five wouldn't seem to be in any jeopardy, but with the Grizz having lost eight straight games, his minutes could continue to fluctuate until they right the ship.

Marc Gasol    C  Grizzlies

Marc Gasol was upset after sitting out the final 15 minutes during Sunday's home loss to the Nets, which he finished with 18 points (6-of-17 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. "I'm sure they wouldn't do it to Mike [Conley]," Gasol said. "I'm not just gonna lay down and take it. I hate not playing, that's what I value most. If I'm not out there, I'm not valued. I'm sure they knew that would hurt me the most." His reference to 'they' in that sentence can only mean the Grizzlies' coaching staff. Memphis has lost eight straight games and Gasol is understandably frustrated, but he'll get a few days to mend fences prior to Wednesday's game vs. the Spurs.
