Chandler Parsons    F  Grizzlies

Chandler Parsons (left knee) is "pretty close" to being 100 percent healthy, according to Grizzlies' GM Chris Wallace. "Physically, he’s where he should be," said Wallace of Parsons. "He’s now pretty close to being full steam ahead with basketball." Parsons' first year in Memphis after signing a four-year, max deal worth $94 million this past offseason was nothing short of a disaster as he only managed to suit up for a total of 34 games while hitting career-lows across the board. He's now undergone major surgeries to both of his knees, and his inability to stay healthy over the past three years is obviously a major red flag.

Parsons (knee) is expected to be a full participant in training camp, Michael Wallace of Grizzlies.com reports.

Bryce Cotton    G  Grizzlies

Bryce Cotton will play for the Atlanta Hawks in the 2017 Summer League. Cotton played for Atlanta's summer league squad in 2016 as well. The Hawks were willing to sign him to a 10-day contract back in January, but Cotton instead decided to finish the 2016-17 campaign in Australia with the Perth Wildcats.

The Grizzlies announced the launch of their NBA G-League team the Memphis Hustle on Thursday. Cool name! The Grizzlies had a number of their players go to the Iowa Energy last year, but now they'll have their own squad to use for development and also be within 30 minutes from the FedEx Forum. Plus, a lot of their facilities will overlap to allow the young guys to get more time with the veterans. The G-League now has 26 teams, which is up from just 16 in 2012-13 and 22 in 2016-17.

Wade Baldwin    G  Grizzlies

Wade Baldwin has an opportunity to prove he can handle more minutes next season by playing well in summer league action. When the Grizz selected Baldwin with the 17th pick in last year's draft, they assumed he would settle in as Mike Conley's backup. However, Baldwin was beaten out by Andrew Harrison for the primary backup point guard gig. Baldwin has the talent to be a significant contributor but needs to improve his focus and consistency. He shot just 31.6 percent from the floor and 13.6 percent from 3-point range as a rookie. Baldwin obviously needs to work on his jumper this offseason.

Deyonta Davis    F  Grizzlies

Deyonta Davis said he's focusing on his conditioning this summer. He also said he's going to try to improve his all-around game. Davis' foot injury from last summer kept him to just 36 games during his rookie year. He was a possible lottery pick before the 2016 draft, but the injury red flags dropped him to 31. He'll likely be going to Summer League.

Chandler Parsons    F  Grizzlies

The Grizzlies are hoping that Chandler Parsons (knees) will be a full participant when training camp opens in the fall. Memphis signed Parsons to a four-year, $94 million contract (the richest incoming free-agent contract in franchise history) last summer, but injuries to both knees limited Parsons to just 34 games. He averaged career-lows in games, minutes, points, assists and rebounds. However, the Grizz are hoping that a full offseason of rest will help his knees recover. Parsons will be a boom-or-bust pick in fantasy drafts next October. He still has a high upside, but the injury issues are undeniably scary.

JaMychal Green    F/C  Grizzlies

The Grizzlies may have to choose between free agents JaMychal Green and Zach Randolph this summer. Green will be a restricted free agent this summer, meaning Memphis will have the right to match any offer he receives. Randolph, on the other hand, is unrestricted. During the 2016-17 regular season, Green started 75 games and averaged 27.3 minutes. Randolph played 24.5 minutes a night, mostly off the bench. However, in the postseason, Z-Bo started four of six contests and averaged 31.8 minutes, while Green logged 19.7 minutes per game. This will be an interesting situation to watch over the summer, as it has definite fantasy ramifications.

Vince Carter    G/F  Grizzlies

Vince Carter said he's planning on playing for two more years. The 40-year-old veteran is set to become a free agent this summer and is hopeful to re-sign with the Grizzlies. He still has some gas left in the tank and averaged 8.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.5 triples in 73 games, and he played nearly 25 minutes per game with Chandler Parsons (knee) on the shelf for most of the season. If he comes back, he won't be worth drafting in standard fantasy leagues.

Marc Gasol    C  Grizzlies

Marc Gasol said his main goal this offseason is to work on his rebounding. "Obviously, rebounding is an issue for me," Gasol said. He's actually not bad at getting a rebound when he has a chance, but the stats say he's out of position a lot. Among the 176 players to log at least 24 minutes per game, Gasol ranked 41st in contested rebounding percentage, but he ranked just 91st in rebounding chance percentage. In other words, he should improve on getting better position before the shot hits the rim than after it. If Gasol can add 104 treys this season to his previous career total of just 12, maybe he can increase his boards from 6.4 per game in 2016-17 to closer to 10 in 2017-18.
