Kent Bazemore    G/F  Hawks

Kent Bazemore will not play against the Cavs on Friday. After 19 minutes on Thursday, Bazemore is likely getting a night off as a precaution due to his knee injury from last month. The Hawks are gutted on the wing right now, so Taurean Prince should be extremely busy off his career-high 20 points. We should see Mike Dunleavy, DeAndre Bembry and maybe even Ryan Kelly in the rotation. Ersan Ilyasova and Mike Muscala should also be getting some decent run tonight.

Tim Hardaway Jr.    G/F  Hawks

Tim Hardaway Jr. (right knee, left foot) is doubtful to play against the Cavs on Friday. The right knee issue is likely a lingering effect from last weekend while the foot sprain could have happened on Thursday -- he did come up lame under the basket in the second half. Hardaway Jr. has been playing lights out as scorer, so the Hawks will have to replace his 32.5 minutes per game since the break with a 22.3 usage rate in that span. Taurean Prince is about as must-start as it gets with Kent Bazemore also out. Ersan Ilyasova should also be shooting a ton while Mike Dunleavy, DeAndre Bembry and maybe even Ryan Kelly get in the mix.

Dennis Schroder    G  Hawks

Dennis Schroder (foot) has a right mid-foot sprain and is doubtful to play against the Cavs on Friday. He may have rolled his right ankle in the second half on Thursday, so that likely is when the injury happened. If so, that means he was able to play through it. The Hawks have some wiggle room to make the postseason now, so this could be a precautionary move on a back-to-back set. Malcolm Delaney is coming off a back injury and was a DNP-CD on Thursday, so he will be a risky play now that Jose Calderon is in the mix.

Thabo Sefolosha    G/F  Hawks

Thabo Sefolosha (groin) is listed as "out" for Friday's game vs. the Cavaliers. This is solely a game-notes designation, so we will have to wait until coach Mike Budenholzer speaks to the media pre-game for confirmation. This would be the sixth straight game Thabo has missed. Taurean Prince would draw another start in Sefolosha's absence.

Kent Bazemore    G/F  Hawks

Kent Bazemore returned to action on Thursday April 6.

Tim Hardaway Jr.    G/F  Hawks

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 23 points during a 123-116 win over the Celtics on Thursday, adding five rebounds, five assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes. So much for that bruised knee over the weekend. Even with the Hawks adding some shooting in Ersan Ilyasova, Hardaway Jr. has busted out for averages of 17.5 points, 3.3 boards, 2.4 assists, 0.9 steals and 2.1 treys on 46.4 percent from the field since the trade deadline. He's been one of the best pickups since January in what has been a mini-breakout year at age 25.
