Kent Bazemore    G/F  Hawks

Kent Bazemore said he will focus on improving his jumper and ball handling skills this offseason. Bazemore saw a slight regression during his second year in Atlanta after signing a four-year deal with them worth $70 million during the 2016 offseason, contributing averages of 11.0 points, 3.2 boards, 2.4 dimes, 1.2 steals, 1.3 triples and 1.7 turnovers per game on 40.9 percent shooting, which was only good enough for 13th round value in standard 9-cat leagues. He won't be worth much more than a last-round flier in next year's drafts.

Paul Millsap    F  Hawks

Millsap is expected to opt out of his $21.5 million player option for the 2017-18 season and become an unrestricted free agent, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. "Eventually I probably will opt out, yes", Millsap said. "But I want to be here. I think talks have been pretty good, so we'll see what happens."

Mike Muscala    F/C  Hawks

Mike Muscala said he would like to re-sign with the Hawks this summer. The 25-year-old center should draw a lot of interest on the open market and had a decent season in Atlanta with averages of 6.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.6 blocks and 0.7 triples in 17.7 minutes per game. As for his offseason plans, Muscala said he wants to improve his strength, shooting and versatility. Unless the Hawks are unable to re-sign Paul Millsap, a move away from Atlanta would likely boost Muscala's fantasy appeal.

Tim Hardaway Jr.    G/F  Hawks

Restricted free agent Tim Hardaway Jr. said he's hoping to stick around in Atlanta next season. "I want to be here, point blank," Hardaway said. "They brought me here because they believed in me and believed in what I’m capable of doing. I’m thankful for it. … As of now, I’m still here. This is my team." He averaged 14.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.9 triples on the season, but really shined after the All-Star break with averages of 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.1 triples. He even took Kent Bazemore's spot in the starting lineup during the playoffs. THJ hopes to improve his ball-handling this summer and should be a significant contributor for the Hawks again in 2017-18 if they decide to bring him back. It sounds like the feeling is mutual, as coach Mike Budenholzer said that re-signing THJ will be a priority of his.

This is my team. I’m an Atlanta Hawk still. There is no other team right now." He averaged 14.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.9 triples on the season, but really shined after the All-Star break with averages of 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.1 triples. Paul Millsap    F  Hawks

Paul Millsap said he wants to re-sign with the Hawks this summer. "I want to be here," Millsap said. "I think talks have been pretty good. ... It's something me, my agent and my family have got to sit down and talk about." Millsap already confirmed that he will "most likely" opt out of his player option and become a free agent, but the Hawks are "going to make every effort imaginable to keep him" according to team owner Tony Ressler. Head coach Mike Budenholzer said he's "incredibly optimistic and incredibly committed to Paul," so the Hawks have made their intentions pretty clear. A max contract offer seems likely for the 32-year-old All-Star.

Tim Hardaway Jr.    G/F  Hawks

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said that re-signing Tim Hardaway Jr. will be a priority of his this offseason. THJ was one of the most improved players in the NBA in 2016-17, averaging 14.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.9 triples in 27.3 minutes per game. Hardaway was actually a candidate to be moved prior to the February deadline, but he made himself indispensable with some strong play after the turn of the new year. He's a restricted free agent which means the Hawks can match any offer he receives, so THJ will likely reprise his role as Atlanta's sixth man in 2017-18 as long as his price doesn't get out of hand. It's not out of the question that he could continue to start as well like he did to close out this season.

Taurean Prince    F  Hawks

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said the development of Taurean Prince and Dennis Schroder will be one of his three priorities this summer. His other two priorities are improving the offense and re-signing Tim Hardaway Jr. and Paul Millsap. Prince showed fantasy owners a glimpse of his upside after the All-Star break, averaging 8.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.7 blocks and 0.8 triples in 24.2 minutes per game in that span. The money stats are the key to his value (steals, blocks and triples), and with Thabo Sefolosha hitting free agency this summer, Prince has to like to his chances of opening the 2017-18 season as the starting small forward. He could be a sleeper in fantasy leagues and we'll get a long look at him during the summer league.

Dwight Howard    C  Hawks

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said he plans to meet with Dwight Howard "within a week or two" to discuss his limited role during the playoffs. Howard did not play in the fourth quarter of Game 6 on Friday which was the second time in six playoff games that he did not play in the fourth. "It was very difficult. I want to play," Howard said Saturday. "I want to be on the floor. I want to make an impact. You can't do it on the bench." Howard averaged 13.5 points, 12.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 29.7 minutes per game during the regular season, but those averages dropped to 8.0 points, 10.7 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 26.2 minutes in the postseason. Coach Bud said he went away from Howard because he wanted to "play faster and more spread," so it was more of a matchup move. Howard will be 32 in December and is under contract for two more seasons.

Taurean Prince    F  Hawks

Taurean Prince will play in Summer League. Even with the Hawks somewhat healthy, Prince ranked fourth on the team for playoff minutes. Prince was still assisted on 79.3 percent of his buckets in the playoffs, so he still needs to work on getting his own shot. He'll get the chance to increase his scoring arsenal in July and could add to his fantasy ceiling. If Paul Millsap leaves, Prince will be a fantasy sleeper.
