Chris Bosh    F/C  Heat

The Heat, Chris Bosh and the players' union have tentatively agreed to a resolution that would allow all parties to move on, according to sources of Brian Windhorst of ESPN. Bosh, his agents and lawyers still need to go over the fine tuning of this deal, but it looks as though Bosh's salary of $52.1 over the next two years will officially be removed from Miami's salary cap. Bosh has said on multiple occasions that he hopes to resume his NBA career, but as long as he's being forced to take blood thinners, his chances of getting medical clearance to play aren't great.

Josh McRoberts    F/C  Heat

The Heat could opt to trade or waive Josh McRoberts this summer. Other than constantly getting injured, McRoberts has done a whole lot of nothing since joining the Miami franchise, and with the Heat potentially looking to make a splash during free agency this offseason, it would make sense to get McRoberts' contract worth $6 million off the books. It's tough to envision a situation where the 30-year-old stretch-four will be worth a draft pick next season.

Chris Bosh    F/C  Heat

The Heat and Chris Bosh are reportedly moving closer to a resolution that will allow Miami to remove Bosh's salary from their salary cap for the 2017-18 season. Bosh is still guaranteed the remaining 52.1 million left on his contract, but the Heat will likely waive him soon in order to ensure that they'll go into free agency with roughly $37 million in cap space. Bosh has hinted that he still would like to play in the NBA, but that might not be something in the cards for the All-Star forward due to the blood clotting issue that forced him to spend the entire 2016-17 season on the sidelines.

Josh McRoberts    F/C  Heat

Josh McRoberts has reportedly picked up his player option worth $6 million for the 2017-18 season. This is far from surprising as there's absolutely no way McRoberts would be able to command this sort of salary on the open market. Since coming to Miami three years ago, McRoberts has only managed to suit up for a total of 81 games, and he hasn't done anything impressive since joining the Heat.

Chris Bosh    F  Heat

Bosh has unofficially agreed to part ways with the Heat in a deal made between him, the team, the union and the NBA, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. The Heat would receive "maximum cap relief" before the start of free agency.

Dion Waiters    G  Heat

Dion Waiters said he and the Heat "just got to make it happen" when it comes to agreeing to terms this summer. "Let’s get it over with as quick as possible," Waiters said. After years of being one of the more inefficient high-volume players, Waiters cracked 50 true shooting percentage for the first time since 2013-14, and a lot of credit has to go to coach Erik Spoelstra. He added he thinks he'll be back, and it does help the Heat will have $38 million in cap space this summer.

Rodney McGruder    G/F  Heat

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said he wants Rodney McGruder to become a better ball handler and 3-point shooter. "I think his ability now to put the ball on the floor, make plays, is something that we tried to utilize at the end of the year," Spoelstra said. "His 3-point spacing already has dramatically improved. I remember watching him in his first summer league three years ago. We liked his competitiveness, but he was an absolute non-shooter at that time. He willed himself." McGruder averaged 0.9 triples on a 33.2 percent clip, so he has a good foundation to build on. He isn't a stat stuffer and will have to compete with a healthy Justise Winslow next season, and it's hard to see him matching the 25.2 minutes per game he played in 2016-17.

Justise Winslow    F  Heat

Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post believes that Justise Winslow will start at small forward for the Heat in 2017-18. Winslow was limited to 18 games this season and is still rehabbing after having surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder in January. His main competition for minutes right now is Rodney McGruder, though the Heat could bring in another forward in free agency or the draft -- they have a 98.2 percent chance of landing the 14th overall pick. Winslow averaged 10.9 points, 5.2 boards, 3.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.4 treys and played nearly 35 minutes per game, but he shot just 35.6 percent from the field and 20.0 percent from 3-point range. There's plenty of room for improvement on the offensive end for the 21-year-old wing.

Luke Babbitt    F  Heat

Re-signing Luke Babbitt likely won't be a priority for the Heat this summer according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. No surprise here, as the Heat are going to prioritize re-signing James Johnson and Dion Waiters. Babbitt averaged 4.8 points and 2.1 rebounds for the Heat in 15.7 minutes per game, but he did shoot 41.4 percent from 3-point range which helped space the floor. If any team offers him more than the minimum, Winderman believes that the Heat will let him walk.

Willie Reed    F/C  Heat

Willie Reed said that he would prefer to re-sign with the Heat this summer. He is fully expected to turn down his $1.6 million player option in order to test free agency. "We all want to be a part of something special," Reed said. "I love this team, I love these guys in the locker room. Being here would be great. Hopefully something works out." The Heat will prioritize re-signing Dion Waiters and James Johnson first, but Reed's asking price will determine whether or not he stays -- the Heat will have about $38 million in cap space once they clear Chris Bosh's contract off the books. Reed averaged 5.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 14.5 minutes per game and is expected to focus on improving his body and footwork this offseason.
