Justise Winslow    F  Heat

Pat Riley stated that Justise Winslow "ain't goin' anywhere" during Wednesday's presser. Riley took a few minutes to discuss Winslow, saying it's not fair to evaluate him based on just 96 career games, that the Heat will remain patient with his development and that he views Winslow as a "glue guy." He also said he's not concerned with Winslow's lack of a 3-point shot due to the other things he can bring to the team, and while there have been rumors that Winslow could be dangled as a potential trade chip this offseason, Riley's comments make that scenario seem unlikely.

Chris Bosh    F/C  Heat

Pat Riley declined to comment on Chris Bosh during Wednesday's press conference, simply saying, "There's no resolution to it right now." The Heat should waive Bosh at some point in order to get his contract worth $52.1 million off the books, and there's a chance he might not play in the NBA again after having two consecutive seasons come to an end due to blood clotting issues.

Dion Waiters    G  Heat

Pat Riley said that the new CBA will make it tough to sign free agent superstars away from teams, so he's more focused on keeping his team together this offseason. Dion Waiters and James Johnson are bound for free agency, but both those guys hinted during their exit interviews that they'd be interested in re-upping with Miami this offseason, which would be a good thing for their fantasy value considering they both just had career years with the Heat. Riley also mentioned that he feels a trade might prove to be more efficient at bringing in some elite talent rather than free agency.

Hassan Whiteside    C  Heat

Miami coach Erik Spoelstra was effusive in his praise of Hassan Whiteside during exit interviews. "I think [Whiteside's] growth has been staggering," said Spoelstra. "You can define it how you want. He can become one of the greats." Whiteside finished the 2016-17 season averaging a career-high 17.0 points and a league-leading 14.1 rebounds, as well as 2.1 blocks. He joined Dwight Howard and Hakeem Olajuwon as just the third player since 1983 to average at least 17 points, 14 boards and two blocks in the same season.

Dion Waiters    G  Heat

Dion Waiters will not require surgery to repair his sprained left ankle. "It’s getting better. It’s still a little swollen. A little pain in there, keep icing it," said Waiters. "I ain't getting no surgery. I don't want nobody cutting me and all that. I hate needles anyway." Head coach Erik Spoesltra said that Waiters would have been ready to go had the Heat advanced to the playoffs, so he should be just fine when training camp rolls around next season. Waiters did have a career-year in Miami, but he didn't really start making noise until Justise Winslow (foot) went down for the year.

Willie Reed    F/C  Heat

Willie Reed was noncommittal when asked about his $1.5 million player option for the 2017-18 season. To be clear, he's fully expected to opt out and test the open market. Reed had a productive season as Hassan Whiteside's primary backup, averaging 5.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 14.5 minutes per game. For him to help most fantasy owners, he will likely have to leave Miami.

Justise Winslow    F  Heat

Justise Winslow is "way ahead of schedule" from his shoulder surgery according to Heat coach Erik Spoelstra. This isn't the first time we've heard this, so all signs point to Winslow being a full go for Miami's training camp. Winslow played a ton of minutes for the Heat and averaged 10.9 points, 5.2 boards, 3.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.4 treys, but he shot just 35.6 percent from the field and 20.0 percent from beyond the arc. He still has a long way to go as a fantasy asset.

Dion Waiters    G  Heat

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Dion Waiters (ankle) would've been ready to play if the Heat advanced to the postseason. Waiters missed the final 13 games of the season, but it sounds like his ankle should be 100 percent as he enters free agency -- he's going to decline his player option for next season. The Heat have been dropping hints that they plan to re-sign both Waiters and James Johnson, and that's likely a good thing for his fantasy value as he had a career year in Miami with averages of 15.8 points, 4.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.8 triples on 42.4 percent shooting.

Chris Bosh    F/C  Heat

Chris Bosh said that he won't rule out a return to the NBA. "At heart, I’m still an athlete and that is not how I want it to end," Bosh said of his playing career. "I do [miss playing]. But a part of me doesn’t. I’ve come to enjoy different aspects of life. There’s a lot of life out there." Bosh hasn't played since February of 2016, and even though he's owed $52.1 million over the next two seasons, if he plays again it likely won't be in a Heat uniform.

Dion Waiters    G  Heat

Miami Heat owner Micky Arison posted a picture on Instagram standing beside Dion Waiters and James Johnson and captioned it: "The Heat's future looks very bright." Both Waiters and Johnson will be unrestricted free agents this summer. After a dismal start, Miami finished the season strongly, and Waiters and Johnson were major reasons why. Waiters averaged 15.8 points and posted career-highs in assists (4.3), rebounds (3.3) and 3-pointers (1.8). Waiters also posted a message via Instagram on Friday, stating that the Heat were a special group of guys. It will be interesting to see if the two sides agree to a new deal this summer.
