Frank Kaminsky    F/C  Hornets

Frank Kaminsky (right ankle sprain) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards. Kaminsky tweaked his ankle during the fourth quarter of Monday's win over the Pistons, but it looks like he might not need to miss any additional game-time action. Check back for official confirmation on his status closer to tip-off.

Frank Kaminsky    C  Hornets

Kaminsky (ankle) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards, Zach Rosen of WashingtonWizards.com reports. Kaminsky rolled his ankle during Monday's matchup with the Pistons and while it's encouraging that he's not being ruled out a day in advance of Wednesday's contest, there's still a chance he's ultimately held out. Look for Kaminsky to test the ankle during morning shootaround, and potentially pregame warmups, before a final word is given on his availability. If Kaminsky were to miss time, Johnny O'Bryant would likely benefit the most with more minutes off the bench at both power forward and center.

Frank Kaminsky    F/C  Hornets

Frank Kaminsky (ankle) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards. Kaminsky sprained his right ankle during the fourth quarter of Monday's win over the Pistons, and he was in a good amount of pain after the injury, so it wouldn't be shocking to see him sit out Wednesday's game. We should have another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround, but if he's out, Marvin Williams and Dwight Howard would likely split most of his minutes. Johnny O'Bryant could also get into the rotation, but he wouldn't be a fantasy target.

Mangok Mathiang    C  Hornets

The Hornets recalled Mathiang from the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Tuesday. As a player on a two-way contract, Mathiang's stint with the NBA team will likely be brief, though it appears he'll be a candidate to dress for the Hornets in Wednesday's game against the Wizards. Mathiang has been nothing more than an end-of-bench option this season for the Hornets, appearing in only three games and logging no more than five minutes in any contest.

Marvin Williams    PF  Hornets

Williams finished with a season-high 21 points (7-8 FG, 5-6 3PT) and five rebounds in 29 minutes Monday against Detroit. The Hornets hit 10 threes as a team and Williams accounted for five of those, as he continues his torrid three-point shooting of late. The 31-year-old has hit at least three three-pointers in each of the last three games, and he's racked up 18 made threes in six games since the calendar turned to January.

Kemba Walker    PG  Hornets

Walker had 20 points (9-18 FG, 1-5 3PT, 1-1 FT), nine assists and four rebounds in Monday's win over Detroit. Walker was one of six Hornets in double-figures, and he's now scored at least 10 points in all but two games this season. The former UConn standout has played well since the calendar turned to 2018, though Monday did snap a four-game streak in which Walker had made multiple three-pointers.

Dwight Howard    C  Hornets

Howard had 21 points (9-12 FG, 3-6 FT), 17 rebounds and four blocks in Monday's win over the Pistons. Howard definitively got the best of Andre Drummond, who had just three points on 1-of-7 shooting in 34 minutes of action. While Howard's scoring has been somewhat inconsistent, he continues to be of the league's best rebounders, and he's now grabbed at least 12 boards in each of the last four games. The 32-year-old's shooting efficiency is notably lower than last year's figure, however, as he's hitting only 53.2 percent of his field goals, compared to 63.3 percent as a member of the Hawks.

Nicolas Batum    G/F  Hornets

Nicolas Batum hit just 4-of-13 shots, but also had a 3-pointer, 14 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals in Monday's win over the Pistons. The shooting was bad, but it was nice to see Batum do some other things, as well. He's had a rough season and his gimpy elbow has slowed him down, but there's still a decent chance Batum has a nice second half. Turnovers have been an issue for him and he had four more today, but he's scored in double figures in three straight and has at least a steal and a 3-pointer in each of those.

Dwight Howard    C  Hornets

Dwight Howard hit 9-of-12 shots and 3-of-6 free throws for 21 points, 17 rebounds, a steal and four blocks in Monday's 118-107 win over Andre Drummond and the Pistons. Dwight destroyed Drummond today, holding him to just three points, and posted his sixth game of the season with at least 20 points and 15 rebounds. Only DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis have more of those than Howard, and if you discount free throw percentage, he's been worth a fifth-round pick this season.

Marvin Williams    F  Hornets

Marvin Williams hit 7-of-8 shots and 5-of-6 3-pointers for a season-high 21 points, five rebounds and one assist in 29 minutes of Monday's 118-107 win over the Pistons. The fact 21 points is a season high for Marvin tells you how his season is going, but he has played well recently, scoring at least 15 points in four of his last five games, while grabbing some rebounds and knocking down some 3-pointers. He's probably going to be busy for a few more games as Frank Kaminsky left Monday's game late with a right ankle injury that could keep him out for a few games. Williams looks like a solid add if he's available in your league right now.
