Gordon Hayward    G/F  Jazz

Gordon Hayward may not make his free agent decision until Wednesday. "Gordon and his wife are still in the process of making a decision," said Hayward's agent Mark Bartelstein. "This is the toughest decision of Gordon's life." News hit on Tuesday afternoon that Hayward had decided to join the Celtics, but that reporting was quickly refuted by Adrian Wojnarowski and David Aldridge, and Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune has stated that neither Boston nor Utah has heard official word from Hayward. Jones also reports that Hayward has changed his mind four times in the past four days and that he was so irked when the initial report of him going to Boston was leaked, that it has caused him to "re-evaluate everything."

Updating a previous report, Gordon Hayward has not yet made an official decision as to where he will sign as a free agent, according to his agent, Mark Bartelstein. And we officially have our first free agency fiasco of 2017. Chris Haynes of ESPN reported that Hayward had decided to sign with the Celtics, but then David Aldridge of TNT refuted that report, as did Adrian Wojnarowski‏ (also of ESPN) and Woj included a quote from Hayward's agent: "Gordon hasn't made a decision yet. We are still working through it." Until we see that Players' Tribune piece, nothing is official. Stay tuned.

Gordon Hayward reportedly plans to sign with the Celtics. This is the second summer in a row that Danny Ainge will be snagging an All-Star during free agency, and Hayward will now be reunited with his former college coach. The contract is reportedly a four-year deal for the max, and Hayward figures to be a primary creator in the Boston attack, so he shouldn't have much trouble flirting with early-round value in his new location. On Utah's side, they now have a huge hole to fill, and if they aren't able to bring in another free agent, Rodney Hood and Joe Ingles would figure to benefit most.

George Hill has reached an agreement on a three-year, $57 million deal with the Sacramento Kings, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

ESPN's Chris Hayes is reporting that the Celtics feel "really, really good" about their chances of signing Gordon Hayward. "I will say this: I'm hearing Boston is feeling really, really good about their chances of getting him," Haynes said on SportsCenter. After meeting with the Jazz for 3.5 hours on Monday in San Diego, Hayward is expected to announce his decision on either Tuesday or Wednesday. Until then, the Heat, Celtics, and Jazz franchises (and their fans) will have to nervously await Hayward's announcement.

Dante Exum    G  Jazz

Dante Exum looked great in Monday's Summer League opener, scoring 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting with six rebounds, five assists, one block, two treys and four turnovers. Exum is about to enter his fourth NBA season (third if you include his ACL injury that kept him out for a year), so the Utah coaching staff challenged him to be the best player on the floor tonight. Exum looked terrific and that would've been the case, but Donovan Mitchell stole the show in the second half. The Jazz brought in Ricky Rubio this summer, so Exum will have to make a living with his defense off the bench in 2017-18. For now, he's not a fantasy target in standard leagues.

Donovan Mitchell    G  Jazz

Donovan Mitchell made a strong impression during his Summer League debut with 23 points, five assists, two rebounds, three steals and three triples in 25 minutes. He was oozing with confidence and finished 10-of-17 from the field without any turnovers. The Jazz used him at both guard spots, and if tonight was any indication, they will have a tough time keeping him off the floor during his rookie season. He will likely be used as a combo guard off the bench behind Ricky Rubio and Rodney Hood, so the Louisville product is more of a late-round flier for now.

Gordon Hayward    G/F  Jazz

Gordon Hayward's final meeting with the Jazz ended on Monday night. The meeting lasted 3.5 hours, and it won't be long before we hear reports that it "went well." There was a report that Hayward encouraged the Jazz to acquire Ricky Rubio, so it's worth noting that the PG flew in from Spain to attend the meeting. Joe Ingles, Hayward's best friend who just signed a four-year deal worth $52 million, was also in attendance. Hayward is expected to make a choice between the Jazz, Celtics and Heat on Tuesday or Wednesday, but expect a domino effect around the league with other free agents once he decides.

George Hill    G  Jazz

There is reportedly "significant mutual interest" between unrestricted free agent George Hill and the Lakers. Hill met with the Lakers on Monday and both sides have reportedly engaged in "serious talks" regarding a short-term deal with the Los Angeles franchise. Word is that Lakers' management believes that Hill and No. 2 overall pick Lonzo Ball could share the backcourt, but Hill's presence on the roster would very likely limit Ball's fantasy potential. As a side note, the Nuggets remain interested in signing Hill, but they'll need to clear some cap space before they can make an offer.
