Boris Diaw    F/C  Jazz

Boris Diaw said he would like to remain with the Jazz in 2017-18. "I don't expect any promises," Diaw said. "I'm just in wait-and-see mode. I'm not sweating over it. I'm not anxious, but … I liked the season I had here. I enjoyed being here, so I would like to be back." The Jazz have a $7.5 million team option on Diaw and will likely retain the veteran forward unless they feel like Trey Lyles is ready for more minutes. In 73 appearances, the 35-year-old forward averaged 4.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 17.6 minutes per game.

Trey Lyles    F  Jazz

Trey Lyles said he "definitely wanted to play a lot more" during the 2016-17 season. Lyles was impressive during Summer League, but that didn't really materialize during the regular season where he contributed averages of just 6.2 points, 3.3 boards and not much else on 36.2 percent shooting, which had him ranking well outside the top-300 in standard leagues. As long as Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert are healthy, Lyles won't be playing much in Utah.

Rodney Hood    G/F  Jazz

Rodney Hood said his sprained right knee will take about a month to fully heal. Hood also said that there wasn't much swelling and it wasn't bad enough to require an MRI, so it sounds like he'll be just fine with some rest. Hood ranked well outside the top-150 during his third NBA season, and was particularly bad after the break when he averaged just 10.6 points, 1.7 triples and not much else while connecting on just 37.9 percent of his shot attempts. He also only managed to make it through 59 games, so he won't be the most appealing guy to draft next year.

Alec Burks    G  Jazz

Alec Burks (knee) stated during his exit interview that he'll work on getting his explosion back during the offseason. Burks' season was yet again derailed by injuries this year, and he didn't play a minute during the playoffs after undergoing a PRP treatment to his left knee. Over the past three seasons, Burks has only managed to suit up for a total of 100 games, and simply put, he won't be worth drafting in most leagues next season.

Joe Ingles    G/F  Jazz

Joe Ingles made it clear that his preference would be to re-sign with Utah as a restricted free agent this offseason. "Everyone knows it, I want to come back," said Ingles. "Hopefully it's a nice quick process." Utah would also like to bring back Ingles, so it looks like an opposing team will need to significantly overpay for his services if they hope to land him as a free agent. If Ingles does remain in Utah, there's a chance he could start at the two-spot next season, which would put him on the radar as a potential late-round flier.

Derrick Favors    F/C  Jazz

Derrick Favors said he "definitely" feels "100 percent going into the summer." Favors acknowledged that he was probably only about 50-60 percent healthy when he initially returned from the knee on April 7, but he feels fine now. While it's nice to know that Favors won't be carrying any lingering issues into the offseason, him saying that he feels 100 percent would imply that the back issue didn't factor much into his ineffective play during Utah's second-round series against Golden State. Favors played in a career-low 50 games this season and didn't even crack the top-150 all year long, so he likely made a lot of people's never again lists this year.

George Hill    G  Jazz

George Hill said that he will not need offseason surgery to repair his injured toe. Hill stated that team doctors advised him to sit out longer when he first sustained the injury earlier in the season, but that he wanted to play. Hill missed a total of 36 games this season, including the playoffs. 16 of those were due to the toe. He said he was not worried that the injury-plagued 2016-17 season would make him less attractive in free agency because the toe issue was a "freak accident." Where Hill signs this summer will obviously have a significant impact on his fantasy value going forward.

Shelvin Mack    G  Jazz

Shelvin Mack started his third straight game at PG in Game 4 vs. the Warriors on Monday, scoring 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting with five rebounds, two assists and two triples. He was a popular DFS play and delivered for his owners despite a shaky start -- he had three fouls alone in the first quarter and only played 24 minutes on the night. The 27-year-old PG will be hitting free agency along with teammate George Hill, but he will more than likely be looking at a backup role wherever he lands. He averaged 7.8 points, 2.8 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.7 treys in 55 regular-season contests.
