Donovan Mitchell    G  Jazz

The Nuggets selected shooting guard Donovan Mitchell out of Louisville for the Jazz with the No. 13 pick in the NBA Draft. The Jazz were the first team Mitchell worked out for and they wanted to get a shooter who can play defense. Not many players created as much buzz as Mitchell has over the last month. Like fellow shooting guard Malik Monk, Mitchell’s size, at just 6’3", is a glaring weakness, but Mitchell does have a 6’10" wingspan to help his length on the defensive end. And his 40.5-inch max vert also helps. He also lived behind the arc with 2.4 treys per game. The Jazz have a ton of guards: George Hill, Dante Exum, Shelvin Mack, Rodney Hood, Joe Ingles and Alec Burks, so Mitchell may have a tough time seeing enough minutes to make a fantasy impact this season.

Quin Snyder    C  Jazz

The Jazz are "very active" to package picks for a shooter, according to Jody Genessy of the Deseret News. The report adds the team is looking to move up with their two first-round picks and another asset. The Jazz have the 24th and 30th picks in this draft, and they could also have a lot of cap space depending on how things go in early July. The Jazz have fared extremely well in non-lottery picks this decade, so their pick will be an interesting one.

Derrick Favors    F/C  Jazz

The Jazz are receiving "a lot of interest" on Derrick Favors, according to Jody Genessy of the Deseret News. This report adds that Utah isn't looking to deal Favors, but he isn't off limits. Favors had a terrible year in 2016-17 due to lingering knee issues. He even tweeted he was playing on one leg, which caused the drop in most minutes and productivity. If Favors can bounce back from this knee issue, the 25-year-old big man could have a bounce-back season.

Favors had a terrible year in 2016-17 due to lingering knee issues, playing in just 50 games and starting just 39. George Hill    G  Jazz

According to Spurs reporter Jabari Young, San Antonio is expected to pursue free agent PG George Hill. Hill was one of coach Gregg Popovich's favorite players before he was shipped off to Indiana in the deal for Kawhi Leonard, and Young adds that Hill has "long desired" to reunite with Pop. Hill still has a residence in San Antonio and works out at the team's practice facility often, so this seems like a credible report. The Spurs haven't made contact with Hill's camp yet, but they are expected to when free agency begins on July 1. The Spurs have also been linked to Chris Paul and surprisingly Derrick Rose, so point guard seems like a focus for the franchise with Tony Parker (quad) out until at least January and Patty Mills hitting the open market.

Gordon Hayward    G/F  Jazz

Gordon Hayward reportedly "has interest" in signing with the Heat as an unrestricted free agent this offseason. To be clear, Utah remains the favorites to re-sign Hayward this offseason, but at the very least, he'll likely take meetings with Pat Riley in Miami and Danny Ainge in Boston. The Jazz will be able to offer Hayward a five-year, max deal worth somewhere in the ballpark of $179 million, whereas an opposing team will only be able to grant him a four-year deal worth roughly $132 million; so he'd be leaving a hefty chunk of change on the table if he decides to leave Utah.

Utah is worried that Gordon Hayward will consider signing with the Heat this summer, according to Marc Stein of ESPN. Hayward will be one of the most coveted free agents on the open market come July. It had been widely assumed that Utah's toughest competition for Hayward's services would be the Celtics, coached by Gordon's former college coach Brad Stevens. However, it now appears the Heat will also make a spirited run at Hayward. Miami president Pat Riley had previously stated he would focus on his own free agents as opposed to "chasing whales," but it seems Hayward is in Riley's crosshairs.

Joe Ingles    G/F  Jazz

Joe Ingles said that he has loved his time in Utah and that re-signing with the Jazz will be "the priority." Ingles is coming off a career-best campaign. He averaged 7.1 points and 1.5 treys while shooting an impressive 44.1 percent from 3-point territory (which was third-best in the NBA). In a league that places a very high value on shooting, Ingles will have plenty of interested suitors. However, re-signing with Utah is clearly his preference. He also stated that salary would not be the most important factor in his decision. "I’m not going to make my decision on money, for sure. There’s no way that’s gonna happen," said Ingles.
