Bogdan Bogdanovic (ankle) made his NBA debut, played 25 minutes off the Kings' bench and hit 5-of-15 shots for 12 points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals and a 3-pointer in Monday's loss to the Suns.
The Suns went up big in the first half and the Kings rolled with their bench the rest of the way, allowing guys like Bogdanovic, Skal Labissiere, Garrett Temple and De'Aaron Fox to post some big numbers. Bogdanovic isn't likely to steal Buddy Hield's job or even take many of his minutes right away, but he did turn some heads and likely earned more playing time going forward. He's a deep league pickup and could also be added in 12-team leagues if they run deep. Hield still has a grip on the starting job, but it's not crazy to think that Bogdanovic could be the Kings' best wing player after Christmas. Just keep in mind that the Kings ditched their starters and the subs led a furious comeback, which isn't likely to happen on most nights.
