Tim Hardaway Jr.    G/F  Knicks

Tim Hardaway Jr. (rest) will play Wednesday vs. the Grizzlies. Head coach Jeff Hornacek indicated on Tuesday that THJ could be returning to the starting lineup for tonight's game, which would shift Lance Thomas back to the second unit. With Hardaway Jr. back on the court, Michael Beasley won't play as much and Courtney Lee's usage will take a hit. Go ahead and get him active.

Tim Hardaway    SG  Knicks

Hardaway, who was rested during Monday's contest against the Nets, will play as expected during Wednesday's tilt against the Grizzlies, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports. This is simply a confirmation, as Hardaway's status for Wednesday was never really in doubt. In his first two games back from a leg injury, he's averaged 20.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals across 29.0 minutes.

Kristaps Porzingis    F  Knicks

Kristaps Porzingis said he was forcing things too much on offense during his cold shooting stretch. "I’m just trying to slow down mentally. That’s helping me know," Porzingis said. "I’m not thinking I need to score as much. I just want to be involved. When the shots come, I’m going to take them, and they’re going to be higher-percentage shots, not as many contested shots and not as much me fighting to get the bucket." Porzingis is adjusting to being the No. 1 guy in the offense, but with Tim Hardaway Jr. back, and Porzingis being more selective with his shots, his shooting percentages should start to trend upward.

Damyean Dotson    SF  Knicks

Dotson was assigned to the G-League Monday. Dotson was recalled from the G-League on Saturday, but has been sent back down Monday. He saw some playing time on the main roster at the end of November, however he's only seen the court three times since December 18. In the G-League, Dotson is averaging 17.7 points over 35.1 minutes per game.

Damyean Dotson    G  Knicks

Damyean Dotson has been assigned to the Knicks' G-League affiliate. He's a non-factor in the rotation, so there's no fantasy spin to this report.

Enes Kanter    F/C  Knicks

Enes Kanter posted five points while playing just nine minutes in Monday's 119-104 win at Brooklyn. Kanter was nailed to the bench with Kyle O'Quinn showing a hot hand off as a reserve, while Willy Hernangomez was also sharp in his meager time on the court. He was able to start, but O'Quinn's shooting and the solid play of Michael Beasley kept Kanter nailed to the bench. It's maddening to fantasy owners, but a solution could be coming soon. Teams have inquired about the availability of the team's centers, as the team has a logjam at the position, so Kanter could see a bump in value, or potentially a new uniform, soon.

Frank Ntilikina    G  Knicks

Frank Ntilikina was able to post 10 points with 10 assists across 29 minutes for the double-double off the bench Monday in Brooklyn. Ntilikina was 3-of-6 from the field, including 2-of-3 from behind the arc, while going a perfect 2-of-2 from the free-throw line. He also chipped in with seven assists, two blocked shots and a steal. It was his first-career double-double, and he was just three boards short of his the triple-double. The performance was nice, and he has upside for help in the steals department, but he remains a stash option at this point.

Kyle O'Quinn    F/C  Knicks

Kyle O'Quinn was effective in Monday's 119-104 win at Brooklyn, going for 11 points with seven rebounds, three assist sand two blocked shots over 23 minutes. O'Quinn was a perfect 4-of-4 from the field, as he had the hot hand to eat into the minutes of Enes Kanter. In fact, O'Quinn and Willy Hernangomez were a perfect 5-of-5 from the floor, keeping Kanter nailed to the bench for a good chunk of the game. Both centers have drawn trade inquires recently, and they certainly improved their stock with solid showings. New York has a logjam at the position, so someone might be on their way out of town soon. A new situation might mean new fantasy appeal, so we'll watch this situation closely.

Michael Beasley    F  Knicks

Michael Beasley finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots in 29 minutes off the bench Monday at Brooklyn. Beasley hit 10-of-18 from the field, including 1-of-1 from behind the arc, while adding 2-of-3 from the charity stripe. He also turned it over just three times while contributing a solid plus-12 rating. Beasley bounced back rather nicely after a scoreless effort against New Orleans in just nine minutes Sunday. His fantasy arrow has been point down lately with some erratic performances in the end of December, but this game marked his fourth time hitting 20 or more points in the past six outings and he remains a useful fantasy asset in most formats for his scoring.

Trey Burke    G  Knicks

Trey Burke made his first appearance for the Knicks, posting five points with two assists and a rebound in eight minutes off the bench Monday in Brooklyn. Burke received a nice ovation from the Knicks crowd that made its way to the Barclays Center, acknowledging him for his first time in orange and blue. He'll be operating as the third-string point guard behind Jarrett Jack and Frank Ntilikina, so he should remain on the waiver wire in all but the very deepest of fantasy leagues.
