Harrison Barnes    SF  Mavericks

Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle said Barnes is considered questionable for Monday's game against the Clippers with a left ankle injury, Earl K. Sneed of the Mavericks' official site reports. Carlisle relayed that Barnes turned his left ankle awkwardly during Saturday's 106-99 win over the Kings, during which the forward recorded 18 points (7-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal across 34 minutes. Given that Barnes was able to complete the contest, it would seem his injury isn't overly significant, though it's conceivable the Mavericks could err on the side of caution and hold the 25-year-old out Monday for the first time all season if his ankle is still tender. In that scenario, the Mavericks would likely lean on smaller lineups featuring Wesley Matthews at small forward and the likes of Yogi Ferrell, J.J. Barea, Devin Harris and Kyle Collinsworth in enhanced roles at shooting guard.

Harrison Barnes    F  Mavericks

Harrison Barnes (left ankle) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Clippers Barnes turned his ankle during Saturday's game vs. the Kings, during which he scored 18 points in 34 minutes. He's been extremely durable throughout his career and hasn't missed a game this season, so we're optimistic, but owners should check for updates after the Mavs' shootaround.

J.J. Barea    PG  Mavericks

Barea (oblique) came off the bench and supplied five points (2-12 FG, 1-9 3Pt), 11 assists and one rebound across 24 minutes in Saturday's 106-99 win over the Kings. Making his return from a three-game absence due to the left oblique strain, Barea turned in one of his worst shooting performances of the season, but made up for it to some degree with his seventh double-digit assist outing. Barea's skills on the pick and roll make him a valuable bench asset for the Mavericks even when his shot isn't falling, though with a 35.3 percent mark from 3-point range on the season, the veteran hasn't exactly been a liability in that area. The 33-year-old's high usage rate even in limited playing time with the second unit should make him a decent commodity in deeper formats so long as he's healthy.

Yogi Ferrell    PG  Mavericks

Ferrell posted 11 points (4-8 FG, 3-7 3Pt), three rebounds and an assist in 30 minutes during Saturday's 106-99 win over the Kings. Ferrell continues to prove his mettle in a bench role behind Dennis Smith, and he provided the necessary spark to pull away from the Kings on Saturday by nailing three pivotal 3-pointers to begin the fourth quarter. Ferrell's numbers aren't quite enough to push him into fantasy relevance, as his intangibles don't translate to hard fantasy numbers.

Dirk Nowitzki    PF  Mavericks

Nowitzki tallied 15 points (5-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and an assist in 26 minutes during Saturday's 106-99 win over the Kings. Nowirzki continues to be a steady presence in Dallas' frontcourt, and the 39-year-old just keeps chugging along with decent stat lines. He's been averaging 12 points and 5.6 rebounds this season, and while that's nowhere near his totals of the old days, he's still making an impact.

J.J. Barea    G  Mavericks

J.J. Barea (oblique) finished with five points, 11 assists and a rebound over 24 minutes in his return Saturday at Sacramento. Barea struggled from the field, hitting just 2-of-12, including 1-of-9 from behind the 3-point line. Despite the off shooting night he still managed to post a team-high plus-17 rating. The team is on tap for four games in the upcoming week. It appears safe to get him back into the active fantasy lineup in deeper leagues.

Dwight Powell    PF  Mavericks

Powell tallied 17 points (7-9 FG, 3-3 FT). nine rebounds, an assist and a steal in 31 minutes during Saturday's 106-99 win over the Kings. Powell started at power forward for the second time this week in lieu of Max Kleber, and once again he put up an impressive total, as he was one rebound shy of a double-double. It appears Kleber may be suffering a bit from the mid-season 'rookie wall', as his lackluster production was likely a big reason got the change. If Powell continues to start he could become relevant enough to be considered in seasonal formats.

Harrison Barnes    SF  Mavericks

Barnes produced 18 points (7-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt), two rebounds, an assist and a steal in 34 minutes during Saturday's 106-99 win over the Kings. It was a pretty messy game overall for Barnes and the Mavs until they pulled away in the fourth quarter, but Barnes still managed to put together a decent stat-line, albeit a bit below average for the veteran. Barnes is, unfortunately, one of the only Dallas players with a reliable floor of fantasy production night in and night out.

Dwight Powell    PF  Mavericks

Powell will start Saturday against the Kings, Sean Cunningham of KXTV Sacramento reports. Powell gets a second consecutive start in place of Maxi Kleber. He had seven points, seven rebounds and a steal over 28 minutes as a starter Wednesday against the Suns.

J.J. Barea    G  Mavericks

J.J. Barea (oblique) will play against the Kings on Saturday. he's been expected to play since Thursday and he did all the scheduled work without a problem. Barea should take minutes away from Devin Harris and Yogi Ferrell, but these guys may cancel each other out in shallower leagues.
