Pacers News

Cory Joseph    PG  Pacers

Joseph recorded 15 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three assists, two rebounds and two steals in 29 minutes during Monday's 109-94 win over the Jazz. Joseph outscored and played more minutes than Darren Collison on Monday, so while it doesn't seem Collison is in danger of his starting job, Joseph is averaging 27 minutes of action so far this month, and while he's not exactly lighting it up, he's managing to hinder Collison's value somewhat. He's only worth consideration in deeper formats at this point but is one injury away from getting a huge boost to his value.

Thaddeus Young    PF  Pacers

Young recorded 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots in 36 minutes during Monday's 109-94 win over the Jazz. Young is surging back into relevance after struggling through a dreadful last two weeks of 2017, where he averaged a paltry 7.1 points and 4.5 rebounds over the last eight games of the year. Monday's effort was his best scoring output in over a month. It's an encouraging sign for Young, who still hasn't lost his starting gig despite this slump, so the minutes are there for the 10-year vet if he can right the ship.

Victor Oladipo    SG  Pacers

Oladipo posted 28 points (9-16 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six assists, six rebounds and two steals in 35 minutes during Monday's 109-94 win over the Jazz. Oldaipo sparked a 15-2 run late in the second quarter to begin the ultimate dismantling of the Jazz, who didn't bring their second-ranked defense to the court on Monday. Oladipo drained five threes in eight attempts and otherwise filled up an excellent stat line while leading the hot-shooting Pacers to victory. The 25-year old shooting guard is a must-start in every format.

Victor Oladipo    G  Pacers

Victor Oladipo torched the Jazz for 28 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals, five 3-pointers and just one turnover in Monday's easy 109-94 win over the Jazz. All-Star voting ends tonight and it's possible Dipo picked up some more votes with this strong line. He simply has to make the All-Star team this year as one of the East's best players and he's the ninth most valuable fantasy player this season in nine-cat. His owners suffered through a rough four-game stretch in early January when he was hurt, but all is forgiven after one of his best games since returning action six games ago.

Jan 15 - 11:46 PM

Cory Joseph    G  Pacers

Cory Joseph hit 5-of-7 shots and two 3-pointers for 15 points, two rebounds, three assists and two steals in Monday's easy 109-94 win over the Jazz. The game was a blowout, just like Sunday's win over Phoenix, so the Pacers let Joseph play while giving Darren Collison a bit of a rest. Joseph has played very well in his last two games, but the Pacers probably won't be blowing people out of the gym on a regular basis. In fact, they'll get a tough test on Thursday night at Portland, so look for Joseph to cool off in that one.

Jan 15 - 11:41 PM

Darren Collison    G  Pacers

Darren Collison hit 3-of-5 shots for six points, three rebounds, six assists and two steals in Monday's 109-94 win over the Jazz. No, it wasn't as good as his 9-of-11 shooting performance on Friday when he scored 22 points with a fun stat line, but it wasn't all that bad either. Scoring is just one category, so don't let tonight's six points scare you away from Collison. He's the only point guard of choice in Indy and this game was a blowout.

Jan 15 - 11:38 PM

Myles Turner    C  Pacers

Turner has been diagnosed with a ligament sprain and muscle strain in his right elbow and will sit out the Pacers' next four games. Turner reportedly won't need surgery, but he'll be fitted with a brace and will then take on a heavy dose of rest and rehabilitation. The big man is set to be reevaluated after the final four games of team's current road trip and is currently considered week-to-week. If that timetable holds true, Turner's first shot to rejoin the lineup will be a matchup with the Suns on Jan. 24, though there's certainly a chance he misses more time. With Turner out, look for Domantas Sabonis to continue to start at center. Sabonis has started the last three games, averaging 11.3 points, 12.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 27.7 minutes.

Myles Turner    F/C  Pacers

Myles Turner (elbow) has been ruled out for Indiana's four-game road trip. Turner has been diagnosed with a ligament sprain and muscle strain in his right (shooting) elbow, and while the injury will not require surgery, he'll be fitted with a brace and be listed as week-to-week. Unfortunately, it sounds like this could be a long-term absence, but Turner offers way too much upside to outright cut in most scenarios. Domantas Sabonis will be the starter moving forward, and he needs to be owned in all leagues with no clear return date in sight for Turner.

Jan 15 - 2:53 PM

Al Jefferson    C  Pacers

Jefferson supplied 10 points (5-9 FG), seven rebounds, one assist and two steals across 19 minutes in Sunday's 120-97 win over the Suns. The veteran big man has been productive in his last two games, averaging 9.0 points (on 56.3 percent shooting), 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 17 minutes. Jefferson has seen action in three straight games overall with Myles Turner (elbow) sidelined, but he'd logged DNP-CDs for all but three games since Nov. 12 prior to the current stretch. Consequently, his fantasy value is nearly non-existent whenever Turner is available.

Fantasy Alarm

Jan 15 - 1:34 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic    SG  Pacers

Bogdanovic, who posted 14 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT) in Sunday's 120-97 win over the Suns, is averaging 11.5 points (on 50.0 percent shooting), 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 26.0 minutes in the four contests since returning from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury. Bogdanovic missed the Jan. 6 contest against the Bulls with the ankle issue, but he's had the hot hand since returning. The 28-year-old doesn't contribute much outside of the scoring and shooting categories, but he is seeing a career-high 30.8 minutes across his first 42 games while also posting high-water marks in overall shooting percentage (47.3) and three-point shooting percentage (38.4).
