Hamidou Diallo    G  Player

Kentucky G Hamidou Diallo has withdrawn from the NBA Draft. Adrian Wojnarowski reports that "several teams in the 20s were serious about selecting Diallo," but he couldn't get a guarantee. Another strong season with the Wildcats could position him as a lottery pick in the 2018 draft.

The Pacers will be bringing in John Collins for a workout on Tuesday. Collins is a 6'10" power forward with a nice post-up game, but he'll need to work on expanding his range and improving his court vision to be successful at the NBA level. He put in averages of 19.2 points, 9.8 boards and 1.6 blocks per game during his sophomore season with Wake Forest, and he could be an option for Indiana when they come on the board with the No. 18 overall pick in 2017 draft.

Josh Jackson    F  Player

Draft prospect Josh Jackson has been ordered to attend anger management classes and refrain from alcohol as part of a diversion agreement he signed back in April. According to the report, Jackson was originally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal property damage after prosecutors alleged he kicked the driver’s door and rear taillight of a car driven by KU women’s basketball player McKenzie Calvert during the early morning hours of Dec. 9. As part of the diversion, Jackson also agreed to write a letter of apology to the victim and complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service. Jackson is expected to be a top-5 pick in the 2017 NBA draft.

Dennis Smith Jr.    G  Player

Four of the teams in the top eight of the 2017 NBA draft have reached out to Dennis Smith Jr. to set up workouts. The Knicks, Sixers, Kings and Timberwolves have all reached out to the former N.C. State point guard's representatives. The 2017 draft is stacked with top-tier PG prospects, which means Smith may get bumped down a bit, but it's unlikely he lasts past the Knicks, who desperately need a point guard and select eighth overall.

Markelle Fultz    G  Player

Isaiah Thomas said he's talked with Markelle Fultz since Boston landed the first overall pick in Tuesday's draft lottery. Thomas and Fultz have known each other for years, as both played at the University of Washington. "He's excited," Thomas said. "I mean, he obviously doesn't know where he's going, but, he's excited about the opportunity." Thomas also stated that he believes they could together thrive as teammates. "He's a good friend of mine. If it happens, we'll figure out how to play together. If not, we'll go from there." If the C's do draft Fultz, as expected, it will be interesting to see if they trade Avery Bradley or Marcus Smart to clear up a potential logjam in the backcourt.

Malik Monk    G  Player

Some NBA executives believe Malik Monk needs to make the switch to point guard. The execs cite his smaller size at 6'3" and lack of length with a below-average wingspan for an NBA player. Monk sure can fill it up and is known for his 47-point explosion against North Carolina, averaging 19.8 points per game in his freshman season. He didn't really run the offense much at Kentucky with only 2.3 assists per game, so it won't be an easy switch.

Markelle Fultz    G  Player

Markelle Fultz believes he would be a good fit next to Isaiah Thomas in Boston. "Me and Isaiah Thomas would be a great backcourt," Fultz said. "I think the opportunity that would be there would be amazing. For him to play off the ball—where I think he’s better at it—or him to play on ball and I can play off the ball, I think the chemistry would be amazing." The Celtics have the No. 1 pick in the draft and Fultz is widely considered to be the top pick, but his ceiling in fantasy would be limited right out of the gate with Thomas and Avery Bradley in town.

Lonzo Ball    G  Player

According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, Lonzo Ball is undecided if he will work out for teams other than the Lakers. "We will make that decision closer to June," Shelburne's source said. The Lakers won the No. 2 pick in Tuesday's draft lottery and are widely expected to take Ball, but Shelburne adds that they are also expected to consider Markelle Fultz (if he falls past No. 1), De'Aaron Fox, Josh Jackson and Jayson Tatum. Ball's camp has made it clear that Los Angeles is his "desired destination," so it will be interesting to see if the feeling is mutual. Ball will likely make an impact in the NBA right away and averaged 14.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 1.8 steals per game during his lone season at UCLA.

Dennis Smith    G  Player

Dennis Smith Jr. worked out for the Orlando Magic on Monday. The Magic will likely have a pick in the top 5 and may consider selecting a point guard, despite the presence of Elfrid Payton. Smith averaged 18.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game during his freshman season at North Carolina State. The other three elite point guards in this year's draft are Washington’s Markelle Fultz, UCLA’s Lonzo Ball and Kentucky’s De’Aaron Fox.

N.C. State point guard Dennis Smith will have an individual workout with the Magic on Monday. Smith is widely considered to be a top-10 pick after posting averages of 18.1 points, 6.2 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.7 3-pointers during his freshman season. There's a good chance Smith will be available when the Magic are on the clock, as they have a 26.2 percent chance at picking fifth and a 36.0 percent chance of picking sixth. Point guard is the deepest position near the top of the draft, so Elfrid Payton's starting role could be in jeopardy. With the Magic rebuilding, Orlando would be a great place for a rookie to immediately have a fantasy impact.
