OG Anunoby    F  Raptors

Raptors GM Masai Ujiri said he thinks OG Anunoby will "develop quickly." "He’s already a top defender type player, and then if we decide to go younger or another direction, he fits," Ujiri said. Anunoby was considered a lottery pick before he tore his ACL in January, but the Raptors had him ranked "significantly higher" than where they got him at No. 23 according to Mike Ganter of the Toronto Sun. Anunoby believes he can defend all five positions at the NBA level, and once healthy, he should be able to fill the void left by impending free agent P.J. Tucker. Anunoby won't play in the Summer League, but he's hoping to be cleared for the start of the season.

Kennedy Meeks    C  Raptors

Kennedy Meeks has agreed to a partially guaranteed deal with the Toronto Raptors. The center out of North Carolina helped his team win the NCAA championship behind averages of 12.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals during his senior season. He shot 55.5 percent from the field, but struggled from the line at 62.2 percent. A 6'10" bruiser weighing in at 260, Meeks will likely be a rebounding specialist early in his career. With Jonas Valanciunas, Lucas Nogueira and Jakob Poeltl all under contract for next season, Meeks will likely spend a lot of time in the G-League.

OG Anunoby    F  Raptors

The Raptors selected Indiana forward OG Anunoby with the No. 23 pick. If not for a knee injury last year, he likely would’ve went higher. The 6’8" Hoosier filled the stat sheet with his averages of 11.1 points, 5.4 boards, 1.3 steals, 1.3 blocks, 1.4 assists and 0.9 steals in his sophomore season. While Anunoby did attempt 2.8 treys per game, he made just 31.1 percent on those and also just 30.0 percent on his two-point jumpers. He said this week he expects to be ready for the start of the season, but he won't play in the Summer League. With P.J. Tucker expected to leave as a free agent, Anunoby will have a chance to earn minutes as a defensive specialist during his rookie year.

Serge Ibaka    F/C  Raptors

The Raptors could be looking to make Serge Ibaka their starting center for next year. If you saw the playoffs, you saw Ibaka fall off as a power forward for a lack of mobility away from the basket on the defensive end. The Raptors are reportedly looking to move Jonas Valanciunas, so that could also help Ibaka's playing time as the five man. Jakob Poeltl would likely be the backup in this case.

Jonas Valanciunas    C  Raptors

The Raptors are looking into moving Jonas Valanciunas and the No. 23 pick, according to Michael Grange of Rogers Sportsnet. General manager Masai Ujiri talked about a culture change, so don't be surprised to see the Raptors shake things up. Ujiri and coach Dwane Casey have been concerned with Valanciunas not dominating in the paint enough, so they may be looking to go a different direction. Plus, Serge Ibaka isn't much of a power forward anymore, so that could be a factor if they keep him. They also have Jakob Poeltl for some depth.

Meeks signed a partially guaranteed deal Friday with the Raptors, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.

Kyle Lowry    G  Raptors

General manager Masai Ujiri said that Kyle Lowry has told the Raptors that he wants to return to Toronto. On Monday night, Lowry tweeted that a report claiming he had "zero interest" in re-signing with the Raptors was completely false. "I know what Kyle has told me. I can only believe what he tells me," said Ujiri. The reality is that Lowry doesn't have many options. The Sixers were rumored to be interested, but have since traded for the No. 1 pick in order to draft Markelle Fultz. There aren't many other teams with the necessary cap space willing to offer Lowry $30-plus million annually. One organization to keep an eye on is San Antonio. They may be able to create enough room to make a competitive offer.

Kyle Lowry took to Twitter on Monday night to deny a report that claimed he has "zero interest" in re-signing with the Raptors. Bruce Arthur of The Toronto Star penned a column that ran Monday morning in which he claimed: "As of mid-May other teams were being told Lowry had 'zero interest' in returning to Toronto, even if the Raptors offered a maximum five-year deal." Later that night, Lowry responded thusly, "I don't do this ever but: Don't believe what you hear !! Especially if it didn't come from me, and that bs FOR SURE didn't come from me." The Raps can offer up to $205 million over five years. The question is if they are willing to make that type of financial commitment to a 31-year old.

ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that the 76ers are no longer an option for free agent PG Kyle Lowry. This isn't a surprise with Philly fully expected to draft Markelle Fultz with the No. 1 pick. Lowry should still have several suitors and is expected to command a max deal this summer, but the Raptors are the favorites to bring him back to Toronto -- they can offer him up to $205 million over five seasons compared to $150 million over four years from other teams. It's still early, but San Antonio and Denver have been floated around as potential destinations if he leaves Toronto.

DeAndre Daniels    F  Raptors

The Raptors announced they have renounced their rights to F DeAndre Daniels. Daniels left UCONN after his junior season. Toronto selected him with the 37th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. However, Daniels was never able to secure a roster spot with the Raps, bouncing around between the D-League and overseas clubs the last few years.
