James Harden    G  Rockets

Ryan Anderson    F  Rockets

Ryan Anderson scored three points with 10 rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer against the Mavs on Saturday. His shot attempts and minutes have dropped so far this season with 33 minutes and 12 shots in the first game, 26 minutes and seven shots in the second, and 23 minutes and four shots in the third game. Anderson's upside just isn't high enough to hold unless you're using him as a specialist.

Oct 21 - 11:51 PM

Nene Hilario    F/C  Rockets

Nene scored 14 points with two rebounds in 10 minutes against the Mavs on Saturday. The Rockets won't be using Nene on back-to-back sets and he likely won't even hit 16 minutes most games, so he doesn't really have fantasy value.

Chris Paul    G  Rockets

Coach Mike D'Antoni said the Rockets will hold out Chris Paul until his knee is "completely well." "It wasn't responding as quickly as we wanted," D'Antoni said. "We're going to hold him out until it's completely well. There really is no timetable on it. We're going to make sure it's 100 percent well. It is hard to put a timetable on it. If it is (a month-long absence) it is." This confirmes the ESPN report that CP3 will likely be sidelined 2-to-4 weeks. The Rockets will be cautious with Paul, as their primary focus is making sure he is as close to 100 percent as possible in April and May.

Paul (knee), despite being listed as day-to-day, might be in danger of missing a month of games, Marc Stein of the New York Times reports.

Chris Paul    G  Rockets

There are fears that Chris Paul's (knee) injury could sideline him for a month, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times. Officially, Paul is listed as day-to-day, but he has already been ruled out for Saturday against the Mavs. Paul originally suffered the injury against the Grizzlies in a preseason game on Oct. 11, and you could tell he wasn't right in the opener. Coach Mike D'Antoni said that it's only a bruise, but obviously there is some concern here. James Harden and Eric Gordon will get big minutes until CP3 can make it back. It sounds like the Rockets won't play him until he's 100 percent.

Chris Paul (left knee) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Mavericks. Paul looked hobbled in Houston's season opener on Tuesday and then sat out Wednesday's victory over Sacramento. It's certainly not encouraging that the Rockets have already ruled out CP3 but, hopefully, Houston is just being cautious. We should get a full medical update from the team over the weekend. In the meantime, James Harden, who led the league in assists last season, will resume running point and posting monster numbers. Eric Gordon will also continue to shoulder much of the offensive load.

Nene Hilario    C  Rockets

Hilario totaled nine points (3-5 FG, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 18 minutes in Wednesday's 105-100 win over the Kings.
