Pau Gasol    F/C  Spurs

Pau Gasol (right wrist sprain) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Brooklyn. Gasol told reporters on Monday that the nagging injury is hampering him. "I can't really bend it much," Gasol said. "It's been building up. I jammed it and it's been a little swollen." The Spurs are notoriously cautious with their injured players, so it certainly wouldn't be surprised if Gasol was sidelined on Wednesday. If Gasol is ruled out, Davis Bertans and Joffrey Lauvergne would likely pick up most of his minutes. Bertans would be the more attractive streaming option and could be worth a look as a risky DFS punt.

Kawhi Leonard    SF  Spurs

Leonard is not on the injury report in advance of Wednesday's game against the Nets, Paul Garcia of Project Spurs reports. Leonard has was held out of Monday's game in Atlanta, which marked his fourth absence in five games, thought the Spurs looked to simply be exercising caution after the All-Star played 28 minutes in Saturday's win over the Nuggets. While Leonard's status could still change over the next 24 hours, at this point all signs point to Leonard returning to the lineup at small forward Wednesday. In the win over Denver, Leonard finished with 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block.

Kawhi Leonard    F  Spurs

Kawhi Leonard (quad) is not being listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Nets. Leonard also wasn't on the injury report on Monday but ended up being a late scratch, which was apparently due to his "return from injury management" program. He'll have had three full days off going into Wednesday's game, so he should be able to get out there barring a setback. Check back for another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround.

Pau Gasol    C  Spurs

Gasol (wrist) is questionable for Wednesday's tilt against the Nets, Paul Garcia of TheSportsDaily.com reports. Gasol has been diagnosed with a right wrist sprain, which is reportedly an issue he's been dealing with lately and ultimately made him a game-time decision Monday against Atlanta. Despite the pain and lack of great mobility in the wrist, he still took the floor and posted six points on 2-of-6 shooting in 21 minutes. That said, it would not be surprising if he was held out against the Nets, as coach Gregg Popovich has a tendency to play it safe with his veterans. Look for more word on his status following Wednesday's morning shootaround.

Manu Ginobili    G  Spurs

Manu Ginobili (thigh) will not play Wednesday vs. the Nets. The 40-year-old got hurt fighting over a Dewayne Dedmon screen on Monday, so it's not surprising that he'll be missing Wednesday's game. With him unavailable, there will be more minutes for Bryn Forbes and Brandon Paul.

Manu Ginobili    SG  Spurs

Ginobili (thigh) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Nets, Paul Garcia of Project Spurs reports. Ginobili had to leave Monday's game early with a bruised right thigh and the Spurs aren't going to rush him back into action, so he'll get the night off Wednesday. Considering the Spurs' typical conservative approach, Ginobili could miss more time, though his next opportunity to play will be Friday against the Raptors. With Ginobili out, guys like Kyle Anderson and Bryn Forbes could pick up additional playing time off the bench on the wing.

Rudy Gay    SF  Spurs

Gay (heel) will remain sidelined for Wednesday's contest against the Nets, Paul Garcia of TheSportsDaily.com reports. Gay, who is day-to-day while nursing right heel inflammation, is apparently still in too much discomfort to take the floor Wednesday. As a result, Kyle Anderson and Davis Bertans should continue seeing a bump in workload.

Pau Gasol    C  Spurs

Gasol is dealing with a right hand injury, Tom Orsborn of San Antonio Express-News reports. "I can't really bend it much," Gasol said after Monday's game. "It's been building up. I jammed it and it's been a little swollen. I decided to play." Despite the Spurs keeping him off the injury report for Monday's game against Hawks, Gasol indicated that he was actually a game-time decision due to a lingering hand injury that's been giving him some discomfort of late. However, he ended up playing just 21 minutes, posting six points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Considering it's to his shooting hand, it is a bit concerning and coach Gregg Popovich is known for being overly cautious with his veterans, so there's certainly a chance Gasol misses a game or two moving forward. For now, consider Gasol questionable heading into Wednesday's game against the Nets.

Pau Gasol    F/C  Spurs

Pau Gasol revealed after Monday's game that he's been dealing with a right (shooting) hand injury. "I can't really bend it much," Gasol said. "It's been building up. I jammed it and it's been a little swollen. I decided to play [Monday]." It sounds like Gasol's ability to play will be dependent on pain tolerance, but knowing the Spurs, he could certainly hit the sidelines on Wednesday in Brooklyn. If he does need to miss time, Davis Bertans and Joffrey Lauvergne would likely pick up most of his minutes. Stay tuned.

Kawhi Leonard    F  Spurs

Kawhi Leonard said the reason he didn't play on Monday was due to the Spurs' "return from injury management" program, and not due to a flare-up with the quad issue. The Spurs have been extremely cautious with Leonard this season, not allowing him to play unless he's had two full days off in between games, and that's apparently the reason why he sat out Monday's game (he logged 28 minutes on Saturday). Hopefully, this means we can expect to see him back on the court on Wednesday in Brooklyn, and owners can expect to get another update by Wednesday morning's shootaround at the latest.
