Dragan Bender    F  Suns

Suns coach Jay Triano said he told Dragan Bender to be more assertive last week following the Devin Booker injury. "We’ve asked him to be more aggressive, both physically and offensively shooting the ball," Triano said. "He’s learning, too. Banging with Julius Randle in Los Angeles, banging with [Nikola) Jokic]. I love the fact he’s outsized but he hasn’t stop battling, which is good." Bender has also spent a lot of time at center recently and has played at least 26 minutes in five straight, averaging 15.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.6 blocks and 2.8 triples in that span. It's been a rollercoaster of a season for Bender, but he's a potential breakout candidate after the All-Star break.

Josh Gray    G  Suns

The Suns will sign Josh Gray to a second 10-day contract on Monday. This means he will be active for Monday's game vs. the Warriors. Tyler Ulis (back) is questionable, so Gray will handle the backup PG duties behind Elfrid Payton if Ulis can't go. Gray is averaging 6.8 points and 3.0 assists in three appearances, and he's shooting just 30% from the field.

Tyson Chandler    C  Suns

Tyson Chandler (neck) was a limited participant at Sunday's light practice. There's not much incentive for Chandler to play at less than 100%, so him being limited at Sunday's practice isn't a great sign regarding his status for Monday's game against the Warriors. If he's out again, there will be more minutes for Dragan Bender, Marquese Chriss and Alex Len, with Bender offering the most upside.

Devin Booker    G  Suns

Devin Booker (hip) was a limited participant in Sunday's light practice. The Suns probably want Booker to get in a full practice before he returns to the court, and with the team playing for Ping-Pong balls, it would make a ton of sense to just hold him out through the All-Star break. Owners can expect to get another update following Monday morning's shootaround, but if he's forced to miss Monday's game against the Warriors, it'll again be Josh Jackson and T.J. Warren doing the heavy lifting on offense.

Troy Daniels    G  Suns

Troy Daniels finished with just six points over 29 minutes in Saturday's 123-113 loss against the visiting Nuggets. Daniels connected on just 2-of-9 from the field, including 2-of-8 from behind the 3-point line, while turning it over twice. It wasn't the best of nights for Daniels as a member of the starting five. Even if he continues to start he is only worth fantasy consideration in the deepest of leagues at this point.

Elfrid Payton    G  Suns

Elfrid Payton managed 19 points with nine assists and six rebounds over 35 minutes across Saturday's 123-113 win against Denver. Head coach Jay Triano promised a lot of minutes for Payton before the game, and he was true to his word. The newcomer did a good job, hitting 8-of-13 from the field, and he was a perfect 3-of-3 from the free-throw stripe. Payton fit in nicely in his first game the Valley of the Sun. The former Magic player landed in a tremendous place as far as his fantasy appeal is concerned.

Josh Jackson    F  Suns

Josh Jackson ended up with 20 points over 39 minutes in Saturday's 123-113 home loss against the Nuggets. Jackson hit 10-of-19 shots from the field, finishing with a team-high in attempts for the second consecutive outing. He also chipped in with seven rebounds, five assists and four blocked shots to fill up the stat sheet. The only blemish was an 0-of-3 night from the free-throw line, but the good news is that he had zero turnovers, too. Over the past seven outings he is averaging 19.0 PPG, 6.9 RPG and 1.6 BPG for his most impressive stretch of the season.

T.J. Warren    F  Suns

T.J. Warren racked up 31 points with five rebounds and two assists over 42 minutes in Saturday's 123-113 loss against the visiting Nuggets. Warren was extremely efficient, going 13-of-17 from the field. The only thing fantasy owners can complain about is that he was 5-of-9 from the free-throw line, but he is entered shooting just 75.3 percent from the stripe so it wasn't a big departure from the norm. He has scored 20 or more points in seven of his past nine outings to please his fantasy owners.

Dragan Bender    F  Suns

Dragan Bender went for 23 points over 33 minutes in Saturday's home loss against the Nuggets. Bender was pretty sharp, hitting 9-of-15 from the field and 3-of-5 from behind the 3-point line. He also added eight rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots and a steal to help out his fantasy owners. He slid into the starting five at the expense of Marquese Chriss and he took advantage of the situation with another big game.

Marquese Chriss    F  Suns

Marquese Chriss had a rough night off the bench against the Nuggets on Saturday, scoring five points with three rebounds, one assist, one block and one 3-pointer in 17 minutes. Yikes. Earlier this year, Chriss said he had a tough time with his move to the bench, and it's fair to say it affected him again today. He had some inexcusable sloppy plays and it's not good when you his fouls and turnovers almost outnumber all of his other stats combined. He's easily the most annoying player in fantasy and it's really hard to defend him. There almost has to be someone on your wire with similar upside, so he's a drop candidate if you don't want to deal with the headache anymore. Hey, maybe give the UniKornet a shot.
