Warriors News

Patrick McCaw    SG  Warriors

McCaw (back) was a participant at Friday's practice and is expected to be available for Saturday's contest against Boston, Mark Medina of The San Jose Mercury News reports. McCaw missed Thursday's contest with a mid-back strain, but is apparently feeling some relief Friday. More word on his status for Saturday should arrive following morning shootaround, but it appears very likely he'll see the court.

Klay Thompson    SG  Warriors

Thompson scored 25 points (9-13 FG, 7-9 3Pt) while adding five rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block in 36 minutes during Thursday's 126-113 win over the Timberwolves. Kevin Durant and Steph Curry combined for 20 assists on the night, with Thompson being the main beneficiary of their largesse. The 27-year-old is averaging 19.7 points, 3.8 boards, 3.2 three-pointers and 2.4 assists in January while shooting 48.6 percent from beyond the arc, and Thompson could see even more open looks in the second half with Durant in particular taking on more distribution duties for the Warriors.

Stephen Curry    PG  Warriors

Curry scored 25 points (9-14 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT) while adding nine assists, five rebounds and three steals in 37 minutes during Thursday's 126-113 win over the Timberwolves. He's now scored at least 20 points in 10 of his last 11 games (missing by one point in the 11th) while averaging a massive 29.9 points, 6.6 assists, 5.7 three-pointers, 5.4 boards and 1.5 steals over that stretch despite missing two games after re-tweaking his ankle. With Kevin Durant taking on a larger distribution role in the already-potent Golden State offense, Curry could be poised for a huge second half if he can stay healthy.

Kevin Durant    SF  Warriors

Durant scored 28 points (10-19 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding 11 assists, 10 rebounds, three blocks and two steals in 37 minutes during Thursday's 126-113 win over the Timberwolves. It's his 10th career triple-double and second of the season. Durant's game continues to evolve and improve -- he's averaging a career-high 5.7 assists per game, but that figure jumps to 7.5 over his last eight contests -- and his development into a reliable point-forward makes Steph Curry and Klay Thompson even more dangerous. The Warriors already have the best record in the NBA, but they could be poised for an even bigger second half.

Kevin Durant    F  Warriors

Kevin Durant dropped his second triple-double of the season during a 126-113 win over the Wolves on Thursday, scoring 28 points with 10 rebounds, 11 assists, three blocks, two steals and six 3-pointers in 37 minutes. It's the first time in his NBA career that he had double-digit dimes in consecutive games after his career-high 14 helpers on Tuesday. Durant has also been ridiculous as a shooter since he returned from injury eight games ago, averaging 26.3 points, 6.3 boards, 7.5 dimes, 1.4 steals, 1.3 blocks and 3.4 treys on a 69.7 TS% and a 27.6 usage rate. That includes a 64.5 eFG% on his 100 jumpers in that span while he's only been blocked twice on his 133 attempts overall in this stretch, as well. LeBron James made him the first pick in the All-Star Team draft and it's easy to see why.

Klay Thompson    G  Warriors

Klay Thompson scored 25 points with five rebounds, three assists, one block, one steal and seven 3-pointers on 9-of-13 from the field in 36 minutes against the Wolves on Thursday. Those seven treys match his season-high as he bounced back from scoring just 17 points combined in his previous two. Thompson made the All-Star Team again and Stephen Curry added him to his team as a reserve. He's been quietly consistent as a third-round value in standard leagues this season.

Stephen Curry    G  Warriors

Stephen Curry scored 25 points with five rebounds, nine assists, three steals and five 3-pointers in 37 minutes against the Wolves on Thursday. The Warriors put on a passing clinic again with 37 dimes on their 48 makes. Curry has been arguably the NBA's best player since returning from injury, averaging 30.4 points, 5.4 boards, 6.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 5.8 treys on a 66.9 TS% and a 30.2 usage rate in his previous 10 games. He's the captain of an All-Star Team for a reason.

Jan 26 - 1:18 AM

Andre Iguodala    G/F  Warriors

Andre Iguodala scored 10 points with five rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes against the Wolves on Thursday. The Warriors turned to their death lineup more than usual to help Iguodala get to double-digit scoring for the first time since Jan. 4. His playing time is down overall with a lot of rest, so fantasy owners really can't add him.

Jan 26 - 1:10 AM

Draymond Green    F  Warriors

Draymond Green scored nine points with eight rebounds, three assists, three blocks, one steal, two turnovers and no fouls in 32 minutes against the Wolves on Thursday. It's just the fourth time in the last two seasons he didn't get called for a foul. Green's scoring did drop off today, but he's really increased his output there lately with 15.3 points per game in his previous January games. He'll get his stats one way or another.

Klay Thompson    SG  Warriors

Thompson (glute) will start Thursday against the Timberwolves, Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Thompson was listed as probable, however is good to go for Thursday's game. He's averaging 34.3 minutes per game, which is where he'll likely end up Thursday.
