Warriors News

Damian Jones    C  Warriors

Jones was assigned to the G-League's Santa Cruz Warriors on Tuesday. Jones has been back-and-forth between the NBA and G-League this season. He has logged just two minutes on the court during his time in Golden State, so his absence will have no affect on the rotation.

Chris Boucher    PF  Warriors

Boucher (knee) is expected to make his G-League debut on Wednesday, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Boucher, who inked a two-way contract with the Warriors back in June, has been sidelined up until this point in the season while working back from a torn ACL. However, he's finally made a return to full strength and will get his first in-game action on Wednesday for the team's G-League affiliate. Considering the lengthy absence, Boucher will likely be eased back into the action, so there's a good chance he has some restrictions over the next few weeks. Once on a full workload with his conditioning in order, Boucher could get called up to the big club, though he's not expected to be a part of the regular rotation and can be avoided for fantasy purposes.

Andre Iguodala    SG  Warriors

Iguodala (calf) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bulls. Iguodala appears to have picked up a left calf contusion during Monday's win over the Caveliers, leaving his status for Wednesday's tilt up in the air. The Warriors will likely wait until Iguodala goes through a pregame workout before determining his status, so expect another update after the team's shootaround Wednesday morning. If he's held out, look for Patrick McCaw and Omri Casspi to see increased run.

Draymond Green    PF  Warriors

Green is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bulls due to right shoulder soreness. Green's spot on the Warriors' injury report for Wednesday is likely just precautionary, as he nearly recorded a triple-double across 38 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Cavaliers. Golden State will surely update Green's status after the team's shootaround Wednesday morning, but it would be fairly surprising to see him be ruled inactive in Chicago.

Andre Iguodala    G/F  Warriors

Andre Iguodala (left calf contusion) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game in Chicago. Iguodala has been dealing with soreness in his hips and knees lately, but the calf issue is new. The Dubs could opt to give him a rest day against a team that they should be able to beat without his services, which would translate to more minutes for Omri Casspi and Nick Young. Check back for another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround.

Draymond Green    F  Warriors

Draymond Green (right shoulder soreness) and Andre Iguodala (calf) are questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Bulls. Green was icing his shoulder after Monday's win, and it's become a reoccurring issue this season, so it wouldn't be all that surprising to see him hit the sidelines on Wednesday night with a matchup against the 16-27 Bulls. The same can be said about Iguodala. If both these guys are out, there minutes will be divvied up between Kevin Durant, David West, Omri Casspi and Jordan Bell.

Jordan Bell    PF  Warriors

Bell drew the start at center in Monday's 118-108 win over the Cavaliers, producing six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds across 14 minutes in Monday's 118-108 win over the Cavaliers. Coach Steve Kerr opted to go small Monday, sending Zaza Pachulia to the bench, and ultimately, to a DNP-CD. Meanwhile, Bell entered the first unit, but he ended up playing a minimal role. The 23-year-old has enjoyed some productive outings this season off the bench, especially on the glass. However, given the depth of the Warriors' rotation and minutes typically afforded to the first unit, his fantasy value remains limited to deeper formats for the time being.

Draymond Green    PF  Warriors

Green supplied 11 points (5-14 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 16 rebounds, nine assists and two blocks across 38 minutes in Monday's 118-108 win over the Cavaliers. Green enjoyed an impressively productive night despite a relatively poor shooting effort, particularly from long distance. The 27-year-old came within an assist of his second triple-double of January, and his rebound haul was a season high. Green has also posted double-digit scoring in six of the first eight contests of 2018, and the fact he accomplished the feat on Monday with the starting five at full health was certainly an encouraging sight for his fantasy owners.

Jan 16 - 8:03 AM

Klay Thompson    SG  Warriors

Thompson posted 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 35 minutes in Monday's 118-108 win over the Cavaliers. Thompson played his complementary role to perfection once again, shooting well over 50.0 percent for the second straight game in the process. The 27-year-old's scoring contributions have gone through their usual fluctuations thus far in January, with his point totals often relative to the health, or lack thereof, of Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. However, Thompson has scored under 15 points only once since Nov. 18, making keeping his fantasy stock robust across all formats.

Stephen Curry    PG  Warriors

Curry poured in 23 points (8-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and added eight assists, four rebounds and two steals across 33 minutes in Monday's 118-108 win over the Cavaliers. Curry played second fiddle to star teammate Kevin Durant on the night, but he still produced his seventh straight game with at least 50.0 percent shooting. The nine-year veteran bounced back from long range following a rough 28.6 percent night from distance against the Raptors on Saturday, draining 50.0 percent of his three-point attempts for the third time in the last four contests. Curry even put a punctuation night on his solid night with a rare two-handed dunk in the third quarter, one of several highlights in what was the Warriors' 13th consecutive road victory. Factoring in Monday's production, the perennial All-Star is averaging 30.8 points, 7.0 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals across 34.0 minutes in six January games.
