Warriors News

Kevin Durant    F  Warriors

Kevin Durant hit 8-of-14 shots, 3-of-8 3-pointers and 14-of-15 free throws on his way to 33 points, six rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in 30 minutes of Tuesday's 125-105 loss to the Thunder. Stephen Curry had 21 points and a full stat line, and Klay Thompson added 12 points and two 3-pointers in the blowout loss. The Thunder came out on fire in this one and Russell Westbrook appeared to be motivated after a hard foul from Patrick McCaw in the first quarter, and then torched the Dubs for 20-plus points in the opening stanza. Most of the Warriors starters sat for most of the fourth quarter and this was the first time they have lost two straight games this season, and they've now lost three of their last four. But they still have the best record in the league at 41-13.

Draymond Green    F  Warriors

Draymond Green picked up his second technical of the night in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's game against the Warriors and was ejected. The first one came when he exploded on an official just before halftime, showing her his bloody mouth and complaining about not getting the call in a very physical game. The last one came after he clobbered Alex Abrines and then lightly threw the ball more 'at' than 'to' the official after the foul call. He leads the league in technicals with 13, has been ejected three times, and is now just three more techs away from a one-game suspension.

Shaun Livingston    PG  Warriors

Livingston (personal) totaled eight points (3-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and two steals across 14 minutes in Saturday's 115-108 loss to the Nuggets. The veteran had missed Friday's contest for personal reasons, but he was back in his usual role Saturday. Livingston's scoring total was actually his best of the last three contests and second highest over the last nine contests. The 13-year pro's fantasy value remains strictly limited to very deep formats due to the relatively scarce amount of minutes he unsurprisingly usually sees behind Stephen Curry.

Zaza Pachulia    C  Warriors

Pachulia totaled 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal across 19 minutes in Saturday's 115-108 loss to the Nuggets. The big man's performance was encouragingly efficient and represented his fifth solid all-around effort in the last six contests. Pachulia has scored between eight and 13 points in those games, and he's complemented those totals with six to 13 rebounds in four those contests as well. The 33-year-old's minute totals are still typically under 20 in the overwhelming majority of nights, but Pachulia appears to be exceedingly proficient at maximizing them in recent games.

Draymond Green    PF  Warriors

Green went for eight points (4-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), eight assists, six rebounds, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes in Saturday's 115-108 loss to the Nuggets. Green generated a single-digit point total for the third time in five games, but he once again complemented his offense with some solid rebounding and assist numbers. The energetic forward has brought down at least five rebounds in eight straight contests while also dishing out at least five assists in eight of his last 10. Those well-balanced lines are keeping Green's value solid across all formats, with his occasional double-digit scoring efforts serving as a welcome bonus.

Klay Thompson    SG  Warriors

Thompson supplied 16 points (7-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt), five assists, one rebound and two steals across 36 minutes in Saturday's 115-108 loss to the Nuggets. Thompson served in his typical complementary role, checking in third in scoring on the Warriors behind superstar teammates Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. The 27-year-old enjoyed a third straight strong shooting night, and he's now drained 61.4 percent of his 44 attempts over that span. The young sharpshooter is undeniably prone to the occasional single-digit scoring tally, but he's often been able to at least partly make up for those downturns with the best rebounding numbers (4.1 per game) of his seven seasons.

Feb 04 - 2:36 AM

Stephen Curry    PG  Warriors

Curry poured in 24 points (8-16 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and added six rebounds, four assists and two steals across 36 minutes in Saturday's 115-108 loss to the Nuggets. Curry posted his best success rate from the field over the last three games, but he missed a critical three-pointer late in the game with the Warriors down 107-104. He was mostly sharp otherwise, and he's now impressively drained at least five three-pointers in six of his last eight games. Curry naturally remains an elite asset across all formats, even if his usage sees some slight fluctuations while he shares the floor with several other high-usage options.

Kevin Durant    SF  Warriors

Durant generated 31 points (12-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-9 FT), seven assists, six rebounds and two blocks across 42 minutes in Saturday's 115-108 loss to the Nuggets. The All-Star forward didn't even attempt a shot in the first quarter, but he ended up spearheading the Warriors offense from that point forward and scored nine of his points in the final period. Durant now has consecutive 30-point efforts after having failed to hit the mark in the six previous contests. The difference has been his blistering shot, as he's drained 72.7 percent of his 33 attempts over his last pair of games, a stretch that includes a 66.6 percent success rate from behind the arc.
