Kelly Oubre    F  Wizards

Kelly Oubre played 34 minutes in relief of Otto Porter (hip) on Friday vs. the Clippers, scoring eight points with seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, two blocks and one triple. Oubre hit just 2-of-9 shots, but nailed all three of his free throws and could be looking at extended minutes if Porter can't play on Sunday vs. Cleveland -- Porter left the game after three minutes and will be re-evaluated on Saturday. In six starts this season, Oubre posted averages of 10.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 0.7 blocks, 1.0 steals and 1.8 triples in 33.3 minutes.

Ian Mahinmi    F/C  Wizards

Ian Mahinmi played through his knee issue on Friday vs. the Clippers, scoring three points with six rebounds, one assist and one block in 17 minutes. He was coming off a two-game absence and has never been known for his durability, so he's hard for fantasy owners to rely on. As long as Marcin Gortat is healthy and starting, Mahinmi is strictly a deep-league asset.

Mike Scott    F  Wizards

Mike Scott matched his season-high with 22 points on 9-of-10 shooting in Friday's win over the Clippers, adding four rebounds, two steals and two triples. He apparently likes playing against the Clippers, as had 22 points against them on Dec. 9 as well. Markieff Morris (groin) returned from a one-game absence tonight, but he played 21 minutes compared to 24 for Scott. He's been coming on really strong lately and may have turned this position battle into a timeshare. He has seven 3-pointers combined over his last four games and is trending up for deep-league owners.

John Wall    G  Wizards

John Wall played 30 minutes in Friday's 100-91 win over the Clippers, scoring 15 points (5-of-16 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs) with six rebounds, five assists, two steals, two blocks, one triple and five turnovers. His minutes are slowly going to trend up and he could be in the lower 30s as soon as Sunday's game vs. Cleveland. Wall is still trying to knock off the rust and is now a combined 11-of-31 from the field and 4-of-11 from the line in his first two games back. He did hit a big 3-pointer in the fourth quarter and looked as explosive as ever, so it's just a matter of time before his rhythm comes back.

Markieff Morris    F  Wizards

Markieff Morris (groin) returned from a one-game absence on Friday vs. the Clippers, scoring eight points with four assists, two rebounds and three steals in 21 minutes. The Wizards have been careful with Morris' minutes this season because he's been struggling with several different nagging injuries. He's also been inconsistent and scored a combined eight points in his previous two games. Mike Scott has been playing really well off the bench and had 22 points tonight, so it's possible this position battle becomes a timeshare.

Otto Porter    F  Wizards

Otto Porter got hit in the hip and is in a lot of pain according to coach Scott Brooks. Porter left Friday's game vs. the Clippers after just three minutes never to return. He will be re-evaluated on Saturday, and Brook added that he believes Porter is day-to-day. If Porter is unable to go on Sunday vs. the Cavaliers, Kelly Oubre would likely take his place in the lineup. Oubre played 34 minutes in relief of Porter on Friday, scoring eight points with seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, two blocks and one triple.

Otto Porter    SF  Wizards

Porter went to the locker room with an apparent right leg injury during Friday's game against the Clippers, Chase Hughes of NBCS Washington reports. It's unclear how serious the injury is at the moment, so he should be considered questionable to return. More information on his status should emerge at some point during the game.

Mike Scott    F  Wizards

Mike Scott will move back to the bench against the Clippers on Friday. Markieff Morris is going to start, but don't forget Scott went off against the Clippers over the weekend. It's possible this is a timeshare for now, but Scott is still tough to count on while Morris is in the lineup.

Ian Mahinmi    F/C  Wizards

Ian Mahinmi (knee) is a game-time call against the Clippers on Friday. It sounds like he has a good chance to play, though. He did not play on Wednesday after being a game-time decision for that one. If he can't go, that should mean more Jason Smith while Marcin Gortat gets a longer leash.

Markieff Morris    F  Wizards

Markieff Morris (groin) will start against the Clippers on Friday night. He was a late scratch in the last game and the Wizards have been careful with Morris in the past. Still, he should see minutes in the 20s as he looks to put the slow start behind him. He may not be worth owning in shallower leagues yet, especially with Mike Scott playing well.
